As a dad myself, one of my favorite aspects of the channel is your interactions with your kids. Daniel reminds me of myself when I was a kid, I started shoveling snow and mowing neighbor's lawns when I was about 10. Love the channel Ryan.

I don't think money's a issue he always has plenty to pay those guys and no concrete to be poured. He sure didn't get it from snow plowing. Must be from his channel and Dewalt advertising .those who have enough money complain. Hey, maybe it would be a good idea to put numbers on your equipment that way when you tell Big Ray to go get a skid steer you can say grab number two or grab number three that way you know which one to grab. Plus it will be easier for when you rent two contractors. You could tell them that they can pick up number two or number three. lol. Keep up the good work guys

what i love the most about your channel Ryan is the growth. The growth in real life. The land, the hiring of CDL drivers, and hiring sales reps. Y The purchasing of equipment all the tools. I am a head chef. I havent picked up a shovel to dig a hole since I was 6. You are very inspiring. Your attitude and approach to life in general anyone that knows you in real life is very lucky to have you.

Time sure flies - when you first started the channel, Grace was just a little bitty thing and now she's a little girl. All of your children are such great kids. Your wife and you are doing a great job raising responsible, happy, hard working kids.
As many folks mentioned below, I would send the audit information to your accountant. It will cost you some extra dollars, but they will be able to do the entire thing for you and have done many before so know what to expect.

As someone who is in the position of becoming a dad very soon, I have found that your family has eased my fears of becoming a father. I know it's going to be crazy, but seeing moments like you shared in the video, as simple as they are, makes me feel very excited to someday have the same. Nice seeing you spend time with your daughters, you have a beautiful family. That Daniel sure brings a smile to my face when he appears. He's going to great things in his life. You'll do great with the audit because you do things the right way. I dealt with those audits for over 30 years. Unfortunately, in your type of business, there are plenty who are trying to take shortcuts. Paying people as 1099 instead of payroll employee. Usually when they see you do things the right way, they'll work with you but as we all know, they need to find something. You'll be good, just take a deep breath.
Enjoy the kids while their young. Mine grew up and their jobs required they move out of state. We enjoyed visiting them a couple times a year, but are older now and not able to make the trip. The Grand kids used to come and stay a couple weeks in the summer after school was out but they are grown and have their own lives. Haven't seen any of them in person going on 2+ years. At least with the computer we can video chat occasionally. My Granddaughter, "oldest" messages us at least weekly. She will be a registered pediatric nurse soon and we're so proud of her.

Maybe Ryan will see this, i dont really know. But some of us may not have a family, or at least a good family dynamic. And some may come from broken homes, or really anything. So seeing the interactions with the wife and kids and doing things may allow some of us to live vicariously through those videos. And they're also just genuinely entertaining.

I'm in my 37th year of business. I own a cleaning company, and I've been audited four times. Three times by the IRS and once by Massachusetts DOR. The first time I was audited by the IRS, I owed them $1,700. The last time I was audited by them they they came to my office. I had an in-house (interview), and they owed me $ 675
Great family time, as far as the audit. As long as you were honest about your numbers, you have nothing to worry about.
As an account (specifically auditor) I would suggest letting your accountant handle EVERYTHING relating to the audit.

Maybe the victory slogans on the equipment is a bad idea. Other concrete contractors doing shoddy work might be mistaken for your company

Honestly ryan, your channel does expose you to alot more issues. As a business owner myself, you may want to limit that type of exposure. Especially as you get more youtube famous.
