I wouldn't do this with any other Fpv drone! The Avata takes the win again!

Thanks dude. Yea it was definitely a risk ... I was worried I'd get like disorientated with the water moving under me.... but it was fine tbh. Landing was the riskiest part 😆

Thanks for this. For some reason, I'd never thought of launching an FPV drone from a craft that small. But both DJI FPV drones are perfect for this. I don't have any diy quads that I'd feel comfortable with them holding position well enough in auto level to hand catch on the water. I'm gonna try it with my DJI FPV in the kayak soon.
Yea this is why I love the avata.... I wouldn't have done this with any other fpv drone. Not even the dji fpv tbh... just because of the exposed props
I’ve done that with my 100 lb dog in the kayak. You need to step up your game, bro 😂. Great video! I’m not sure I’d do it again with the dog but flying from my kayak was a lot of fun and just a little stressful haha

nice video, goofy premise (in a good way) and you made it entertaining. by the way, i've seen videos of people getting a "motor overload warning" or something similar when they upgrade with the axisflying kit. does that happen to you? maybe they just did it wrong...
