Being raised in a Hindu Indian home, I too heard as a young child that we should awaken at the Brahma Muhurat, but after watching it, I fully understood the advantages of waking up early. It will be simple for all of us to view the rising sun and begin our days with lovely activities like indulging in meditation, having a positive self-talk, practising some yoga pranayam, etc. once we have persuaded our minds that getting up early is crucial. A crucial element that particularly appealed to me is Swamiji's counsel that we shouldn't disturb these gudgets two hours prior to going to sleep and two hours following rising up from the bed. Electronic devices, impact of friends wrong life style disturbs our discipline in life. Knowingly or unknowingly we move to a state of indisciplined routine of life. Swamiji's lecture ensures that if you want to achieve something we should utilise Brahmamuhurt.
It is a good habit to rise early in the morning, at least two hours before sunrises .That two hours can be dedicated for meditation, spiritual sadhana, yoga practice, reading etc . This is the time when we can plan better.This can be done going sleep early and making it a practice. wonderful video by swamiji.
Early riser are more proactive and optimist. Morning time is more cooler than late time and most important things in life. This time is good for sadhana and focus on study.
Frankly speaking, I am a bookworm and have a great passion to read books. I am so conditioned to it that sometimes in my life any other thing I do other than reading, I feel it is a simple waste of time. Now, besides doing my sadhana, I enjoy listening to Swamiji's video lectures on RUclips, because it is so logical, insightful and inspiring and more to that it clarifies all my doubts. 🙏🙏🙏
