What happened to CrossFit Brent?
I do a 36-96 hour fast every week then lift fasted and slam food in right after. You don't have to choose strength or fasting the fasting actually helps with strength if you get in enough protein when you eat. The typical bodybuilder diet is absolute trash for naturals and low protein keto and other 'healthy' diets are usually even worse.

Why don't you test 1 rep maxes from day one, so we can know the exact strength gain?
Not effective and awfully risky. Rip has explicitly stated how to find your very first work set for complete novices.

@@senaares6107 A novice going into the gym on day one, cannot be expected to do a 1 rep max of lifts he/she has barely learned. That is how injuries occur. There are better ways to determine your first workout starting weight.

@@senaares6107 Weight on the bar from your usual 3 sets of 5 from the last day you lifted - (minus) Weight on the bar on the very first time you entered the gym. There you go, strength gain.
Legit bummed this was not Ke$ha.
I like this Kesha better, more disciplined and can squat and deadlift more.
