I love seeing these stories from other people doing the program who are at a very similar point as me. Gives me motivation to know that I'm on the right track and just need to keep putting in the time and making the numbers go up... even on the days when it's more of a grind.

You must not have been on a proper novice LP program.

I was just curious when Brent Carter says "numbers went from x to y," you know that first number, "x," was that a real 5 rep max? The thing is, the squat chapter of the book says: "The general plan is to do a couple more sets of five reps with the empty bar to nail down the form, and then add weight, do another set of five, and keep increasing in even increments until the next increase would compromise the form."

@Starting Strength: Any plans of branching out abroad? Like coming to India?
Things are ripe for expansion here, I think...

I find his three plates deadlift fine. Not wonderful, but fine.
    What am I missing?

It is fine. People are just being smart asses. If he keeps it up he will be >405 this time next year.

Well he is a long legged guy so his deadlift should be a little different, but his hips don't look out enough to me

A lot of people talk shit online saying this program doesn’t work Bc you gain too much body fat but dude I’ll take the 13 lbs of muscle and strip the 4lbs of fat off later
