I was Parker out but yesterday I saw a change and I’m happy to be wrong. Could have easily been 3-0 up but everything was better and we played football. If we continue this same progress I’m happy. Big thing for me was Koleosho on the left and Anthony right. They need to be there permanently. We outclassed BC for 65-70 minutes.
I know it takes a lot. Thought that side looked balanced. A 9 in a 9 position helps too. Look, we need a striker but if the core of the teams there were 3/4 of the way there. Finish teams off and we’ll be fine.
I think Josh was trying to either chest it or let the ball run across him.. and the ball has bounced/skidded into his hand. It's not a deliberate movement of hand to ball... but ball to hand, yes.
Can Koleosho take some extra shooting practice please? How the F has he missed that chance he had? It’s like that every time he gets a big chance lately
The problem with playing Hannibal at 10, even if he plays well there, is the lack of goals... We could do with a 10 who can play like he did yesterday but also score goals... We have enough midfielders and strikers who won't score many this season to be carrying a non-scoring 10 in the team as well... If we replace Brownhill when he inevitably goes soon with a goalscoring midfielder, and a striker that can get close to 15 goals a season, then fair enough but we'll struggle to get enough goals with him as 10 in the current set up!
You talk as if Parker never tried replacing him. The lad was benched for the last 4 or 5 games. Laurent took his spot, also Flemming and Sarmiento. I don't remember us scoring in any of those games. They were all goalless draws and a loss against Millwall. Even the penalty that won us the Swansea game came after he was subbed on, and it was largely due to his clever play in the final minutes.
@UTCPHiL I didn't say goal scoring wasn't a problem without him either lol even though you've tried to turn my comment into a binary statement... It was more of a medium to long-term point that we could do with a more attacking player and goalscorer in the 10 postion... Fletcher is the only 10 that we've hardly played at 10 too so your comment is a mute point, let's give him a go at 10 from the start with a proper 9... Redmond was also outstanding in a free role at Southampton so he could fill that void as well so I'm quietly confident one of those 2 will replace Hannibal at some stage as number 10 because you can't have a central spine where only one player (Brownhill) can score goals!... Hannibal will do a job at 10 but it's never been his postion and he will play deeper in the long-term.
I’m a Burnley fan living in Brecon Wales went to game yesterday played really well until 70min onwards should have had game won long before then but overall well pleased with performance.
@ well seems half of us are happy with the slow ponderous football as long as it gets results and half are fed up with it. I guess that critical mass will be reached and the see saw swing . One way or another .

Great day yesterday miles better. Hopefully Andrew will be in full voice Tuesday night
Depends on the weather mate 😉 I’ll certainly be there in full voice mate!
Not a pen. Ball was going out and not a Bristol player in sight
I know. Credit where it’s due I liked the 65 minutes. Just pray he doesn’t change it again. 🙏

And we were home by 19.30
We got away with that handball thankfully

That was defo a pen. He moved his hand to the ball and it changed direction. 😂😂😂
Second half was crap, sitting back on a one nil lead . Lucky win
Last 30/25 minutes, we were class for the first 15/20 in the second half

Never seen a goalkeeper go down with cramp before, Burnley know the dark arts.
