For me that was better than a Kompany Burnley, because we never look like conceding... We always looked fragile at the back despite our attacking abilities under VK. We look so solid... And that will take us up!
I’d like to start with giving credit to Scott Parker who I have criticised almost weekly upto a few games ago. You Scott have made me eat my words and I’m glad you have so win win. We are now starting to go through the gears. With players starting to come back after injury and January transfer window looming, it’s looking good. UTC

First half was fairly even but second half you carved us up like a christmas turkey (with stuffing). Your number 30, can't pronounce his name because I'm from Stoke, was brilliant. Genuinely best opposition player I've seen down here for years. Fully deserved victory. Well done 👍
@@derekrushton1705 Thanks Derek. That’s Luca Koleosho he’s only 20. We really struggled to keep hold of him in summer. First half you were the better side for me but I don’t know what was said at halftime. I’m sure you’ll bounce back, good luck for the rest of the season.
I've supported the Clarets for nigh on 65 years & because of my many health issues & wheelchair I can't get to see them live, but Scott is doing a great job under difficult circumstances, due to many injuries, several longterm and transfers at the start of the season. Like most of my generation we hate Leeds as much as the Rovers, I hated Hunter of the gbh assault from behind on Frank Casper, which ended his career, so it was 2 teams playing each other that I detested (the staying down for ever fly over at the Turf showed the mentality of the mob down the road, when we were struggling with only a few professionals & a few youth team players) but in those circumstances is a draw or a win to either side the best result for the Clarets. A win for the mob down the road helped us so I hoped they'd win. It's always Burnley fc's interest first, in my book so it makes it easier to make the decision on who you want to win or draw. No trainer & a great result & performance by all Clarets on & off the field. UTC!
I really like the way we are playing, we start from the back in possession and hold it there patiently until a gap shows for the forward pass. If the ball gets held up in midfield we pass back and recycle the ball again. The basic rule of the opposition can't score if we have the ball is why we have only conceded six goals all season. Is it slow and boring, or slow and measured, it depends at which way you look at it, either way so far its working. We have tough games ahead, including defeats which are unavoidable, but we also have players coming back who may be better than the ones we have starting. Yeah, I would say we are doing OK !!
It isn't easy for any team to score against teams that put all their players behind the ball and almost all are doing it to us home and away. So many are doing it to us we are getting used to it now. Will be interesting to see what Middlesbrough do on Friday.
That was me moaning again Joe. 😂😂😂 As soon as I do it I have to eat humble pie yet again. I think the second half we just moved the ball a lot quicker. We will/can finish top if we play like the second half. Xg 2.95 😮

I agree with all this, Dale. Two years ago, every time we lost possession, we looked like conceding.
Under Kompany, he never had Esteve at the back in the Championship... Put him in any side in this league and they'll concede very little.

BTW, form has improved since Roberts grew his tash
Sounds like your still buzzing Joe 🐝 great review 👏
Well said Joe, spot on. SP deserves every credit going. Thankfully he did not walk after Sunderland game. Top man utc

Top win, away end was outstanding, loud from start to finish.
Joe I predicted a win,I said one nil for Burnley, but I should have been more confident. What a fantastic team display.UTC👏👍⚽️❤️
Spot on Joe!! We need to stick with this team through thick and thin.

You know I love you really Martyn!
The difference when we have men running forward - we were two up and had six men running forward. Big win, better than the performance there under VK
thanks Joe... how many away fans went?
Over 2k, not sure on exact numbers. Away end looked full but half a row next to me was free
Burnley. Getting. Better. Now. Up. The. Clarets
What was the away following? 2,000?
