Hey Angie, I wanted you to know that you have helped someone... my sister! I’ve been watching you for a while now and noticed when you talked about your pain, it sounded just like my sis. She also had an ablation, hers was unsuccessful. She is starting menopause and the pain and bleeding have become awful. I told her about you and the post ablation (syndrome?). She made an appointment with her Gynecologist and sure enough she has the same thing! She, also, will be having a hysterectomy so I will send her your way! Your tips have been great, I think you’re doing an awesome job walking us through this with you! Continue to feel better!

I just want to say thank you. These videos have been so helpful. I've watched a bunch and you are so calm and honest. It's a breath of fresh air. I am looking at a hysterectomy later this year. What kinds of things did you have to do prior to the surgery? Bowel prep? I don't think the hospital will allow my husband to be there because of Covid and that really scares me. Frankly, everything about the surgery is a little scary. I'm ready to have a month where it doesn't look like a crime scene though. I just want to know it's worth it in the end.

I did not have to do any kind of special prep prior to surgery. I just couldn’t eat or drink after a certain time the night before. I’ve seen other videos where people had to do prep but I didn’t have to. Not having my husband there was hard but the nurses were so sweet and kind and made me feel better. I’m so happy I had this surgery. I wish you well.

I think I have the same nightshirt. If there is a moose on the shirt, I do, and I love it. Years ago when I was still young I had to have a full hysterectomy and each day I felt a little better. I stopped taking the heavy painkillers because they made me to constipated. After the hysterectomy , I noted I was having mood swings, after speaking to my doctor she gave me medication which really helped. I was so scared I was going to dry up and look
like a prune. But I am happy to report that It has been years since the hysterectomy and I did not turn into a prune. Till this day I always receive complements on how young my skin looks. The best part is
all that horrible pain was gone.......

Mine has a horse on it but a moose sounds so cute too. The horse is holding a coffee cup and it says “I don’t do mornings”. I kept my ovaries so I’m hoping that will help but if I start having trouble I will definitely seek help from my doctor. 😊

I just found out today, at my docs office at age 65, that my inner lining/endometrium o my uterus is 5.2. My doc did not seem overly concerned, but still wanted to do a biopsy. I will get the results on Friday; today is Monday. I’m terrified of Uterine Cancer/Endometrial cancer as my maternal aunt died of something similar. I just stumbled across your video as I was doing some quick “research” as all this is fairly new to me. If you don’t mind me asking, why did you have a hysterectomy…was it total?

I have a video where I explain why in more detail, but I had Post Uterine Ablation Syndrome. I kept my ovaries but had the full uterus removed. I hope you hear good news Friday.
