Audi S3 EMD Auto Carbon Fiber Front Lip Install!

- Today we install an EMD Auto carbon fiber front lip on my Audi S3. This Lip is only compatible with Facelift models (2017+). There is all a pre facelift model lip available (2015 & 2016). Install should take about 15-20 minutes with the correct tools. this product is great quality and looks fantastic. Any questions please let me know in the comments. Enjoy!

Did you jack up the car using the pinch weld, and then put the jack stand behind/infront of the pinch weld?

Surprisingly the carbon pops more off the black than I thought. Always seems Carbon sort of blends into black paint but I was wrong lmao looks tough and pops hard
Agreed! You’re right sometimes Carbon does kind of blend into black but it’s awesome my carbon pieces pop
yo i got a question. does the “discharge” pipe on the mini cooper have a muffler? is it worth replacing?
Yes there’s a muffler there. I do recommend replacing it as you will get a bit better throttle response and more turbo noise. If you replace both the hot and cold side the car will feel completely different

Unfortunately this lip is made by emd solely and my lip is a bit mangled up from all the driving I was looking for another site myself but couldn’t find anything. Hopefully maybe someone somehow has another way of possibly getting one

Absolutely going to be doing a diffuser and have been looking for carbon side skirts but haven’t found much tbh
I’ve seen people remove the belly pan to drill it in. Do you think that’s a better way?
You can do it that way yes but the hardware they provide is a little long so it drills right through the belly pan as well. If you remove it and use shorter screws then you can get away with not drilling the belly pan. But if you use the longer self tapping screws regardless if you remove the pan or not you’re gonna have to drill holes into it so it fits properly

Diego is right just drill through the belly pan adds another layer of support for the screw to go into makes it’s more durable

I think so. Carbon is pretty expensive and they lip feels super sturdy and is super lightweight
