Looks great the maxton skirts and rear diffuser would look great with this too, you can also get the maxton badge in the middle of the splitter in different colours on the maxton website
Nice install bro. It gives the front-end some serious bolls.. Coicidently, I visited the Maxton booth today at the Essen Motorshow (EMS 2022, yearly exhibition in Germany). They sell tons of spoiler mods for MQB cars, GTI, S3 and alike.
@MaxtonDesignOfficial products are very nice. This totally transformed the S3. I can see how much work you put into all of you cars, but the S3, we can tell, is one of your top, if not favorite. Enjoy and happy holidays, Mark.
I get ya about the cars and coffee - I do though like to hang with a like minded friend for a bit in the garage. You'll have that in a couple of years when your son gets a bit older - lots of mods and projects to share I'm sure.
when i get older... lulz.. do you know how old I am? i like hanging with like 1 or 2 individuals in my garage doing a mod job sure. just not large gatherings. I'm not into crowds.. OHHH you said when my SON gets older... got it.
Sick editing from 0:43 to 1:05 👍 S3 came out of the garage lookin purrty at the end. Something like the rear valance u had on the GTI in that gloss black would look good too. Still love those Sparco Terras dude
Nice! I got the same one plus the side skirt lips, I just used small self tappers 10x easier but forsure actually using nuts and bolts like you did is way more secure
@LastHumansGarage I didn't use them because I didn't have a garage to disassemble the front bumper in. Also, it's just way easier to drive it up ramps and use a bunch of self-tappers..forsure better to use what is provided, but it's holding up so far, even seen a few snow storms last winter
no chips, no fading really. but lot of spiderwebs just from my dirty sponges i guess. i could polish it to brand new if i wanted, but then it would stand out from the rest of the parts.
@@LastHumansGarage on camera at least it looks mat or satin not really the same level "glossy" as the new splitter but the all black is great (at least IMO) - the Auto Union / 4 rings logo emblem. Again it could just be the camera.
@@LastHumansGarage yeah I got the harmon system thats good enough. still checking you out bro! if I every get another wrx it will be my toy. I'm 53 getting too old for stiff suspensions, lol
Looks good, however Maxton's stuff doesn't hold up at all. I hope you don't but you'll eventually bust that front splitter. Maxton needs to invest in better materials. I changed over to Flow Design's stuff.
When are you lowering that monster truck?! ;)

Nice content, I've been following this channel since the WRX. Learned a great deal.
thanks Crabber, I appreciate the support.

wow you really see the whole story. thanks for staying around.

Looks fantastic Mark, throw a few coats of ceramic coat on it.

how are the sides, about the same type of install? I'm sure you dont use nuts on the side ones?
i mean.. Maxton included nuts.. why wouldn't everyone use them??
@@LastHumansGarage side ones come with self-tappers

Great video! Would you do an update on how it looks after all this time? I'd love to see how it has held up against rock chips and the sun!

Looks fantastic! Perhaps now changing up the Audi logo to the same glossy black would look pretty dope.
isnt my audi logo already black? which one you mean?

The maxton emblem is just a sticker. I peeled mine off of one of my GTI's wing extension and stuck it on the bowtie of a Chevy Equinox
you sure tho? hmm ill get my glasses and look real close. this is a version 3.
holy crap is correct! good job mark!
thanks jimmi
That look fly ❤ I surprise you have change the front grill to honey comb grill.
i just found one that may fit, but i aint about to spend another 350 right after this splitter..
@@LastHumansGarage oh right I get that bud.
What size are the smaller screws/ nuts and bolts that you used? TIA
#6's or #8's probably.
oh by the way, I got myself a 2023 subaru legacy limited last week! got 14k for the trade in on the 2015 wrx which had 90, 000 miles on it.
sweet bro, get any options like stereo?
