Very interesting. You guys could go OEM. If you have the guts to do it businesswise, you could seriously challenge Fox and RS by forging an aggressively priced fork / shock duo with slightly tuned down tech. I'd be very interested to see you aggro the big players. You've already got them beat on performance - now conquer the market
but it's small manufacture. If they produce that much of suspension, there could be sometimes things like in rs - no oil or grease in dust wipers. I mean, if they still keep this level, ther suspension would cost wayyy more due to expand of brand. and about oem. you can buy oem nicolai with ext ;)
@@fafinnnou can buy Nicolai with an EXT or Intend or Fox... And i would love to try an EXT or a Intend cause i relativ believe, that they rare more about customers than other's especially if there are real problems
@@Pens4Life85 no CSU issues at all! Not a creak in earshot 🙌 I can honestly say I haven't heard of a single unhappy customer so can't explain the reduction in value other than it's a very niche product in a niche industry and therefore resale is fairly low due to being kinda specialist interest? The only complaint that I've heard is that they can't set it up properly, honestly. That does take a bit of fiddling to get it the way you want, but once done, it's easy to achieve again and is very tunable. I think the V2 upgrades fix the axle coming loose sometimes with a punch bolt but otherwise nothing negative about v1.
check out the vorsprung suspension videos on stiffness (1 of the best suspension tuning engineers in the MTB market worldwide). Stiffness these days comes down to headtube > crown construction much more so than stanchion diameter. This is the only single crown fork with a reinforced structure in this critical area. It might very, very well be stiffer than the 38 and zebb in real life.
I'd love to try one of these, it looks awesome.

They only has one fork at $1600. How do you expect them to conquer rs and fox’s market?
@@youling1997 not too far off 38s actually and way more boutique

Great video. I have mine on order. I am beyond excited to get it on my bike!
I'm super excited to try one of these! Looks amazing
This is fork for Enduro.
When will be fork for Downhill?
:)
era usd will be probably launched autumn 2023
I'm loving mine so far - what a fork! The increased stiffness is instantly noticeable and they feel super plush 👌 grazie
@@Pens4Life85 yes! 140 on the hardtail and now 170 on the big bike too - soooo good! V1 for me, for now...

No xc fork?
you can't develop it all at once. but that would be sweet to have full EXT fork range.
I'm wondering is there option to get raw aluminium look off fork legs?
it's magnesium ;)
As stiff as a Fox 38 or RockShox Zeb?
Stiffness comparison would be super interesting
The forks have 36mm
@@gabrielchassan8833 but are these as stiff as rs and fox?

@@gabrielchassan8833 zeb and fox are 38 but era 36 although it's stiffer cuz of special crown design.
