  • Extreme Racing Shox or EXT is an Italian suspension supplier, primarily known for its rich motorsports history which includes working with legendary racers like Sebastien Loeb who dominated the World Rally Championship for years aboard his Citroens. In 2014, EXT decided to try its hand at making products for mountain bikes as well, and brought over many of the technologies and the expertise it had developed over the years of motorsports racing. Intended primarily for enduro and gravity riding, the Storia and Arma have been well-received and are now onto their third generations, respectively. We’ve put the latest version of the Storia to the test, watch the video to find out how we’ve been getting along.

After second- xc/flow trail ride had to send in for damper valve warranty. Shock was great after that for a few months. Had to send back under warranty for same issue (though leaking less oil this time last time). Shop said there was a recall on the seal. Just got it back and so far so good. When it’s not at the shop it’s great. Running it on 2021 specialized enduro. Enter then the x2. (That is also always in need of repair).

@@ryantiberti5377 The EXT was available and from what I've read about the MOD it has some spring rubbing against the body issues. It cannot be run with the eyelets in 90° difference either. The Selva C is a very good fork and not far away from the EXT Era V2 I have on my bike now.

I have this shock, it's not as loud but I still have that sound, but might depend on settings, and on how hard tthe shock is compressed, but during riding I mostly don't hear it.
Vital probably had microphone close to the shock, thus making it sound loud.
