i have hypothyroidism and depression and anxiety and some days i cant face doing excercise because i feel like i cant do any workouts right and i fail at them but then i put on a Cassey pilates video which gives you some easy quick and moves that I actually can do. I did the recent, arm, leg and cardio videos in one day and i was exhausted but i felt good and like i accomplished something by making my body tired from excercise. Thank you Cassey for making workouts bareable and easy for me!

group classes are def the way to go! even when i had the motivation to work out, i didn't have the motivation to actually do a proper workout/i'd always sell myself short. less minutes on the treadmill, get bored by beefy men using all the weight machines and just be like nah we can skip arms together etc. group classes is totally the way to have someone push you and have others motivate you, and share your struggles and triumphs together... at the fraction of the cost of a personal trainer!

I always keep gym clothes and sneakers in the car, so I can squeeze in a workout whenever I need to. If I’m feeling lethargic, I’ll find a “floor workout” (i.e. Pilates, yoga, strength training, barre). I also read my classwork, bible, or listen to sermons for my “long rides” (60 minutes). I love walking meetings. I’ve even gone to a “jogging meeting/collaboration session” before. In fact, some of the best ideas, have come to me while working out. As far as the workout calendar is concerned, I am so glad you went back to the original format. It’s easy to stick to (even when I don’t feel my best). If I’m not feeling well, I’ll start with one of the shorter videos, and work up to the harder ones (P.I.T.T. or H.I.T.T.). Also, being a part of a group fitness class also carries the variable of social accountability. I missed ONE class last week due to scheduling issues, and the next day when I showed up all of my fitness buddies were like “Where were you?!” (in a good way). Anyway, thanks for all the workout tips, workout videos, and motivational blogs. They have truly helped me to transform my life for the better 😊. Does “The Jack” have her own channel too? I would love to subscribe to it if she does.
There is the 2 minutes rule. Start doing something (whatever it is you need to be doing but don't feel like doing) and let yourself know you are going to do it for the next 2 minutes. Chances are after the 2 minutes you will continue doing it because you already started. Works like a charm for me when I have to do the dishes lol.I like the "do it while watching tv". It happens to me a lot, I'm watching tv and thinking I should workout now since I clearly have the time and start following a blogilates video while watching whatever I was watching, after 5 minutes I find myself pausing the movie, series, etc and working out full attention.

Game changer for me was getting into my workout clothes when I get home. I'm not a morning person and working out in the mornings have always failed. So now I work out after the kids are in bed and if I don't get into my workout clothes as soon as I get home inevitably it doesn't happen bc I'm so tired!
I take my workout really serious 😂 the vision of the future me just really motivates me. If I feel really tired that day ( like really really ) I would skip my workout but then I'll do it on my next rest day
My hack is a combination of group fitness, courses that I love and - honestly I think that's the most important part for me - a really energetic and motivating trainer (plus, he's nice to look at, too, haha :) ). Loud music and a trainer finding the balance between a really sunny mood and yelling at me to push harder is just getting me so hyped, I'm even annoying all my friends because I talk so much about these classes and how much I enjoy doing them :)
for the working out while watching tv, try to find a workout that goes with your show. search your shows name on google followed by workout and you may find something! i did this for the office and it was so fun and a pretty good workout.
I just discovered this channel today and I LOVE IT! I'm a VERY beginner exerciser and I love that your videos are so short that I can do 2 a day, even one in the morning and one at night (#2). I gained a ton of weight after having a major surgery and I'm trying to get healthy again! I love tip #3...I follow a few youtubers and tend to binge watch netflix like it's my job and usually lay around on my computer to watch but now I will walk as I watch!
my uni tutor used to do walking meetings all the time and i remember those above all other meetings i've ever attended. also as someone with anxiety i find it easier to talk while walking rather than sitting at a table where i feel everyone stares at me 😵 honestly walking meetings should be standard practise at every workplace whenever possible!

I like to run in the mornings, but it's SO hard for me to get up on my own so I usually have a friend to make me responsible to get up and not to bail. Also running with a good friend can always make a run a million times better :)
2 problems with walking while talking: 1) Losing reception from moving around town (cities probably don't have this problem but country towns do); and 2) weather could interfere with the call (wind blowing into the phone for one). I'll move around in my own home while talking on the phone and my call will get dropped. It's awful! (I'm going to blame it on the other person's phone though as their phones always drop calls. 😉) But, yeah, I used to walk around and talk on the phone in the park when I lived in a place where that was feasible. Now though the wind would probably be too loud to hear me and for me to hear the other person. 🤔 It makes the walk soooo much shorter though! It's really nice. 😁
My workout hack: Got a desk-job? Stand-up and walk in-place while talking on the phone or between phone calls. Or, stand-up at interval times; like 5 minutes every half-hour or 45 minutes during the day. Park further away in parking lots to get in a walk.

I like to run in the mornings, but it's SO hard for me to get up on my own so I usually have a friend to make me responsible to get up and not to bail. Also running with a good friend can always make a run a million times better :)

2 problems with walking while talking: 1) Losing reception from moving around town (cities probably don't have this problem but country towns do); and 2) weather could interfere with the call (wind blowing into the phone for one). I'll move around in my own home while talking on the phone and my call will get dropped. It's awful! (I'm going to blame it on the other person's phone though as their phones always drop calls. 😉) But, yeah, I used to walk around and talk on the phone in the park when I lived in a place where that was feasible. Now though the wind would probably be too loud to hear me and for me to hear the other person. 🤔 It makes the walk soooo much shorter though! It's really nice. 😁

My workout hack:
Got a desk-job? Stand-up and walk in-place while talking on the phone or between phone calls. Or, stand-up at interval times; like 5 minutes every half-hour or 45 minutes during the day.
Park further away in parking lots to get in a walk.
Love the idea of setting an alarm!
