Pre-ordered it after tracking down all the tpb. Looking forward to it. If you like Todd Nauck's art the tpb of Stargirl and the Lost Children written by Geoff Johns just came out.
I'm glad this exists and I want it. Unfortunately, it's one of the DC books that came in at a very high price point, around $175 Canadian and I just can't do it at that price. When I'm getting brand new Marvel omnis for $90 I can't justify paying double for one. When the price drops I'll pick it up for sure.
Seeing this brings back a lot of memories. Thank you for covering this. I will definitely consider picking this up, once I start moving some omnis given they are crowding shelf space...
Purchased this today. Wound up having a $10 coupon on the site I purchase so was able to get this shipped for $83 and change. I'll call that a win. Looking forward to another Peter David omnibus to add to the collection.

I love the fact that they are including issue identification in DC books. That was missing for a number of years.
Once again they announced this Omni pretty much immediately after I got all of the trades...

These were all collected in TPB Format. I got them. More options are always nice. Omnibuses are a bit too premium

I will probably be getting this at some point. The late 90's was my era, and these were the sidekicks that I actually care about.
this is one of the first dc team titles that i liked. glad to see some appreciation from fans. love this..
Happy for this release. Only thing I wish they would have done for this was to add the Pre-YJ apps where the first met each other. The appearances are mentioned in the timeline in the Secret Files comic. But can hope they do a thick trade for those apps now.

I’ve had three new DC omnis the past few weeks and they all have the same thinner paper stock which seems very much like the paper they use for their single issues. To me that’s a concern considering the price tag for omnis. Appreciate your overviews Omar as they often inform my book buying decisions!

Got my copy coming. Been looking forward to this one. Now DC needs to get us Omnis of Outsiders, Birds of Prey, Secret Six, original Suicide Squad, etc etc.
Omar...great review buddy. Have you read the Stargirl:Lost Children mini yet? The Todd Nauck art in it is amazing. He is getting better with age.
I think they're releasing a Secret Six omnibus sometime next year.
If I can find this under $50 on sale I'll sell off my original issues and upgrade to omnibus. I'm not in any hurry to do that though.

It felt more of a matte paper than any other omnibus I have. I don't mind it but I really hope this isn't going to be dc go to for paper. I still prefer the glossy for most comics.
Really hope graduation day will be in the next volume, just so it leads into the next omni afterwords. But all in all, this looks fantastic! 😁

I know Chuck Dixon's problematic for some, but, I don't know what the problem is. Please explain.
His right wing extremism is a major problem, speaking for myself I have gotten rid of comics from my collection written or Drawn by anyone right wing.
I don't remember the skin tones in the original books being this.... gaunt. They all look washed out and gray. It's kind of killing the book for me. Am i alone?
They look the same as my customs which I used original single issues.
