- Pride of 22 Lions on the move close to Shingwedzi in Kruger National Park
Well this was a very different Lion sighting that we normally see. WOW 22 lions a very large pride was spotted South-East of Shingwedzi Camp a couple of kilometres down the river after the old Kanniedood Dam wall.
We sat with them for about an hour before they stated to move in our directions as if they wanted to double back on a couple of Waterbuck and Impala that was to the back of us upstream.
The youngster was following the couple of large females we did not see the males but we have heard other guide saw them the day or two before near the same location.
This was an awesome private wildlife photographic safari sighting with many opportunities to capture these lions. The cubs was very inquisitive and we got to spend some great moments with them.
This is Kruger at its best totally alone on a wildlife photo safari with twenty two lions around you what a blessing!

I agree with Hennie Bekker, what a privilege it is to watch these 22 lions on just another day in their lives. I can watch lions all day, just something extraordinary about them…thanks for posting. I’m now subscribed and waiting for more.
