Do you think you could give us a tutorial on how to mod splatoon 1? i would love to add some mods bc i homebrewed my wii u the other day but i have no idea how to add mods to games😭
Hi Gabby! What method did you use to homebrew your Wii U? This tutorial by @FunkyScott47 is the one I used: ruclips.net/video/w44Iz3HQuIo/видео.htmlsi=yDgepwJHUy7MA9aM Just make sure you have the sdcafiine plugin.
It's pretty easy to add mods once you do that and get the hang of it!

Once you have the mods you want to use, you just have to use a computer to place them on the SD card you used to mod your Wii U. If you used the FunkyScott47 method I linked above, this should be the pathway to place your mods on the SD card:
wiiu > sdcafiine > 0005000010176900 > [Name of your mod. You can call it whatever you want!] > content
Most of the mods should come with a content folder, so just merge it with the one on your SD card.
By the way, the 0005000010176900 I used above is the Title ID for the NTSC version of Splatoon. If you have a different version, you have to use the correct Title ID as the name for that folder. Splatoon PAL version is 0005000010176A00

i noticed theres like a bunch of mods on at the same time! how do u do tht?
I make custom mod packs with the exact mods I want and then name them. You can choose which one you want to launch when you start the game! I can show you how!

You just put all the Mods you want in the same file holder, (sometimes they are not compatible with themselves) and sdcafiine ask you what mod you want to applies before launching the game @@spaacechannel5
@@thedogfire. Yes! Once you understand how to arrange the folders and what each file actually means, you just have to pay attention and make sure you don't put two of the same type of mod in the same folder. For example, if you have a mod that changes the Slosher into something else, make sure you don't have another mod that affects that same Slosher. I believe this also goes for Player.pack, Layout.pack, Weapon.pack, etc

Quick question: what does pretendo run on? I’m assuming the Wii U but I’m just double checking
Pretendo is a free open source server that allows some Wii U and 3DS games to be continued to be played online! Very thankful for them!! You don't even have to mod your Wii U anymore to play on it!
