I saw a person in some reply sections on GameXplains (who won?) videos, and they were like: “Shivrr was cheating Frye deserves buff BIG TIME”. Had to tell them to chill the heck out.

One time i found an hacker in salmon run, he didnt have weird hacks or anything, just a fuzzy octo. Ended up getting to be his friend.
Hackers in Salmon Run are the best, there was one that got me and two other people like a million eggs after each wave

This isn't hacking, Nintendo saw that splattershot sometimes lost battles and thought that was unfun for the splattershot player so they buffed the weapon.
No they were just using the homing shot color chip exclusive to the side order dlc early and in a splatfest turf war.

The only problem with that is the match isn't in your records which makes it harder to report hackers/exploits.
I thinks that's the first hacker I've seen in Splat 3. It's kinda funny that it was basically just you land and then die.
The sad thing is there have been hacks in the game for a WHILE and people have been using them super carefully to not get caught. The best known use of discretely cheating I've heard of is a subtle aimbot which people have used in conjunction with weapons like Squeezer with a tap fire spam toggle and well you get the fastest possible kill time with that weapon with good accuracy and yeah it sucks to fight.
I know nintendo makes it fairly hard to hack as you have to use a hacked switch in the first place plus get around splatoon 3's anticheat which is why most of them are user end only with what we saw in the video as an exception and it's likely he got lucky and ended up getting the host given to him to pull those kinds of cheats off but I can't say for certain as I don't know how the cheat works.
only one i have seen before was a zoomy brush who just ran around and didn't kill anyone

hacking is alright if its to goof around in a private lobby, but try-hards like that ruin the game for everyone
or if it's just a visual hack that only affects that person (like changeing your characters look somewhat)

I believe this was more fun to encounter than a mirror match and squid baging for 3 minutes straight
It honestly was, we just kept jumping to see how many kills they could get.

I remember revisiting splat 1 and coming across a hacker that spammed a special. Instead of spamming a funny special like bomb rush, they spammed

Tbh if you spam specials it DOES make it harder but some specials like the BOOYAH bomb, vacuum, or others will kill you if your not in a safe distance
This is why I miss the spawn point because now you cant even hide in your base :(

Hackers are so annoying. One match I went into during splatfest ended almost immediately because one hacker got an early start and was immediately booted from the match. I’d find the instant karma funny but he was on my team and it ended the match for everyone 😐

I’ve only encountered two hackers. One was using aimbot on an E Liter (no, the weren’t just really sweaty. They would snap precisely to your position. It was really obvious on the splat cam.) and the other was during the first demo splatfest. They somehow already hacked the game and had the trizooka as a main weapon. They used it the whole match nonstop. At least they were creative lol.
Practically this concludes the theory that you can't get 100% even if you inked everything.
My normal Mirror Matches weren't like that. 😭😭😭

I also encountered a hacker, but the just had really fast movement speed on the Inkbrush.
As a brush main, I've managed to train my hands to get used to super fast brush flicks, and I will be developing carpal tunnel because of it, but honestly, I'm not surprised to hear that people use hacks for that. Makes me curious though, just how fast were they swinging it?
@@gavinopolis I meant that the brush player was 'rolling' with the brush at around double the regular speed. I'm not sure if they were attacking any faster.

I don't like going online with hacks but I accidently clicked the eshop on my modded switch trying to go to the gallery menu and I git banned AS SOON AS i got in.
It's funny cause I didn't think hacks like these were possible and how the hell he those hacks, probably made them himself, and got in without immediately getting banned is beyond me.

Reminds me of when I had a hacker who had the spawner on them (which made them invincible), and their character was in a T-pose.
Learned pretty quickly to just avoid that person altogether, but we lost regardless.

The only time I would be okay with encountering a hacker would be in Salmon Run, where the hacks would help people without ruining the game for others (granted, it wouldn't be fun for the Salmonids).

This reminds me of a hacker I played with in Splatoon 1 who had every floor of the map inked before the match even began. Luckily I was on the same team. Unfortunately for the other team, it was a ranked match

Played against a hacker in Splatoon 1 today. They gave us light blue and white as colors, rainmaker as mode (we weren't playing ranked) and the splatfest versions of the map. At the start they were super fun to play with because they didn't use hacks but after a while, it became unfair. Started when they always had the better team (3v2, 4v3) and put lower ranks then theirs (50 and S) in the opposite team. I quit when they did 4v1 with them as the solo player and then used hacks to win, after we couldn't move anymore. Now I have an Inkling with white tentacles. Hurts to lose that on my next match but at least I got to see the forbidden ink, night version of training and even Splatfest tomorrow with white tentacles thanks to my squid sisters amiibos
