@@Clairavoyafun thing is, I've ignored these a couple times. You'll notice the "don't swim" and similar challenges have a number under them, it counts the amounts of 'steps' taken in that form. You'll only fail that when it reaches 0, but your rewards scale down depending on how close you got to 0. So those kinds of challenges are not instantly failed.

That really depends on your special and also your pearl drone chips. I tried getting only drone chips and in the end I did the final boss without using my main, sub, or special weapons (granted, I did have almost maxed hacks).

Nah don’t worry, I’ve been playing since Splatoon 1 and it still took me (ironically) 8 attempts to clear the spire the first time, it’d definitely be more difficult for newer players though, but you’ve got this! Like I said I’ve been playing for a while so I’ve already cleared every weapon (haven’t found every color chip yet) Lol
@@mikaorinI know only been playing for 2-3 years but some tips are don’t waste any ink,swim in ink then just walking waiting for more ink that gets you killed,use supers anytime your surrounded,break creates,use weapons your good at for your first run trying to beat order the first time then move on all those tips will help

My gosh the amount of cracked clips 😂😂😂 I’ve got some Levels recorded with Pearl demolishing everything because I did an all drone chip run- even RIGOROUS Levels were easy because I had splat drone gouge, basically whenever enemies were splatted her drone gauge filled up- so whenever she splatted things with her specials they immediately recharged it was so broken- I never thought I’d want to be overcrowded 😂😂😂
That happened to me too, but luckily it was right before christmas. I put it on top of my Wii U (yes people still use those) and then I never saw it again.
you dont need to kill the layers to defeat it, you only need to break the layers with lights around the edges, once you do that the whole thing just dies

One run, i was using the charger, the I got so little charge up, that I could one-shot anything in my way. Half my palette was power chips, and the other, were those purple chips, can’t remember what they’re called.

I once got a danger challenge for zone. The challenge restricted Pearl and any and all item drop. Being an idiot with a charger with two zones to protect I eventually quit the run.

The flick up and down aim reset at the start of a floor is so real. Replaying octo expansion I keep trying to do it, honestly don't understand why it didn't work like that in s2.
The auto aim chip ruins every flick and snipe, also I think it’s cheating idk why everyone thinks those are genuine snipes you can clearly see the autoaim reticle on the enemies
The not using your main restriction shouldn’t apply when you’ve got splash wall or sprinkler bc at that point the already hard stage feels impossible unless you have pearl maxed out

Yes. The reason motion aiming is good is twofold: 1) you get to use your body's hand eye coordination instead of guessing how much you should aim with your thumbs 2) you can turn with your hands much faster than you can turn with the sticks. What you trade for in mild annoyance (occasionally pressing y a couple times to reset your resting hand position) you make up for with speed and accuracy once you get used to it

Today I got the no main weapon challenge. My sub weapon? The Splash Wall.
Still accomplishable especially if you had a good special weapon
