WHAT OTHER EASTER EGGS DID YOU FIND WHILE PLAYING? Edit: For #17, There is actually some additional character icons behind the elevator entrance which I missed before uploading.
Not sure this would be considered an easter egg (as this one is heavily argued either with or against) but if you look at Acht's eye thats revealed during the greyscaling cutscene and later on in Acht's entries, the eyes looks very similar to that of Octo pearl from the art books. Another fact that kinda also backs up about Acht being a possible redo of Octo pearl is how similar some of Acht's backstory points are when compared to Splatoon 2's artbook's info on Octo pearl. Before anyone starts raising pitchforks, this is just something I interpret it as.
In the Spire Foyer before going in the elevator, the lights that border the ground and water will change color depending on your most used color chips from your last run. I didn't even notice this until Pearl's dialogue pointed it out.
i noticed whenever you get Pearls Dualies and she wonders about where she got them she says "Your guess is as good as mine." which i believe is a subtle nod to when you saw a mem cake in Octo Expansion that you didn't have and said this line
The Jelletons are actually named after musical terms! This leads to a layered pun with Parallel Canon, as "canon" both means a repeating melody (the boss being a group of Inkling like Jelletons) and a set of works that form a continuity (a "parallel canon" where Team Order won)
@@suddenlyacatohhh and your going against order, which is ironic since agent 8 is actually fighting for chaos and agent 4 and the other inklings are fighting chaos lol

2:57 The enemie names are actually based off musical terms, for example “andante” means moderately slow in Italian, the original language of music terms. I think this naming scheme is a nod to Off The Hooks musical specialty.
Not only is parallel canon an exact replica of your agent 4 from your Splatoon 2 save, Eight is also the same octoling from your octo expansion save! If you have data from octo expansion, during customization in side order Eight already has their appearance from OE taken from your Splatoon 2 data (I noticed that when I started side order and before I touched anything Eight was a pale male octoling with purple eyes, just like how I had them in octo expansion)
For fact 12, the latin is actually mostly music terms! For example - Marching Andante has Andante which indicates a walking tempo, and Whirling Accelerando has accelerando which means speed up in music
1:06 they're actually always reactive! Before you clear the spire, the effects are still reactive, just in a different pattern since its a different song. In fact, there's effects outside the spire that are also react to the music!
4:28 Actually, the reason she says that is likely cause the vending machine is the exact same model as those found in Inkopolis Plaza. It has the Express logo on it.
- When you fight Overlorder the first time, once you collect all the color chips, you can defeat it on your own without using Pearl's Color Wail (your main weapon is really OP at this point), it takes some time to defeat it and even Pearl will react to this. - Acht mentions that they escaped Kamabo Co. after hearing a voice while still trapped below. After the first completion of the Spire, in a conversation inside the elevator they'll ask Pearl if she was in the Deepsea metro and she'll respond that she defeated Tartar with her "Princess Cannon". Acht then confirms that this was the voice they heard back then, implying that Pearl also saved them that day. - Another interesting conversation inside the elevator implies that Pearl is incredibly good at playing rhythm videogames. Acht tells Marina that her musical videogame was too hard because the music plays at 888 bpm and it's impossible to hit every note without failing, so she would make it easier. Marina tells them that instead she wanted to increase the difficulty because Pearl was able to beat the game without missing a single note, saying it was too easy. Skill issue, Acht 😂
4:31 this is not a reference to Octo expansion's vending machine, it is a reference to the fact that the vending machine is an Express branded vending machine, that you can see in certain maps, and is also the company that made the big swig Express.
The floor lights in the foyer will change color to match the type of color chip you had the most of in your previous run! Pearl even mentions this, saying that Marina told her this info. For example, if most of your chips were Mobility, the lights would be blue the next time you enter the foyer!
Some music easter eggs not mentioned: • #0.1 style and #12.2 awakened are remixed versions Dedf1sh songs, specifically #0 shell and #12 awake. • The Onward! Leitmotif can be heard in every boss song (other than Overlorder). • In the post game foyer, the giant shape spinning in the middle when the foyer goes dark actually has audio attached to it, if you manage to get into it, it will play the leitmotif for short order. • If you stitch the audio clips for Asynchronous Rondo together, you can make it sing Ebb and Flow. This can also be done with Pinging Marciale which would make it sing Fly Octo Fly. • The high note Marina pulls in Spectrum Obligato is near identical to the one she did during a concert when performing Ebb and Flow.
Edit, you already mentioned this I don't know the song was called Spectrum Obligoto my mistake: Ebb and Flow is also remixed during final boss fight. It's pretty obvious so don't know if it's an Easter egg but it wasn't mentioned in the video.
Yo u missed one! If u go afk long enough in a specific spot in the square pearl will transform into her inkling form and sit on the overhang above the door to Deca tower and wait for you to come back.
The stat screen rotating thingy is the only thing I didn’t know. And I guess that the corner pillars had icons for octolings and octarians. I also found out that there is an extra melody that plays in the foyer when you somehow fly through one of those orb light thingies in the center of the foyer that appears at some parts of the music. Most people probably don’t know that because why the hell would you try that. Also the Pinging Marciale and the Asynchronous Rondo both sing a slowed down and distorted version of Ebb & Flow. Another cool detail is that your ink color and pattern are determined by how much of a certain color chip you have for example if you have a lot of red then your unk cilor will be red. If the second most saturated color chip is purple then you will have the purple pattern in the ink.

Actually the second word in every jelloton name is a music term, usually relating to their behaviour
4:35 Actually, the same exact vending machine is in Splatoon 1 lobby
The vending machine is actually also in inkopolis plaza and many places
