  • Let me say first I apologize for not recording the fix. I had taken this planer apart multiple times and failed at figuring it out. I decided to give it one more try and just went at it. The next thing I knew I had it working. Anyway, this video contains a walk through of what I did to fix this machine. I show you exactly what parts has to be removed to fix without breaking down a lot of unnecessary pieces. This planer was jammed due to binding from the main machine sitting sideways on the posts. From the research I done, this is not the only cause. Several people experienced jamming due to rust on the posts/worm screws. In this situation I would recommend spraying each worm screw with WD40 to help remove the rust. I hope the video is helpful. Any questions or comments, just leave below so we can all learn together. Thanks for watching

I had that planer and used it for less than an hour. Ate up the blades, the noise was horrendous, and the chip exhaust was way too powerful. Returned it like a cheap rental suit.
