I purchased the Glock 19X and I love it. I can conceal carry with no issues. My biggest like is with one in the chamber and both of the extra mags on my left hip, I have 56 total round capacity. Bring on the zombie's!
I bought one of those at GT Distributors when they first came out, its my go to war pistol for sure now. Though to be fair, my favorite pistol of all time is a Glock 19. The Glock 19x is awesome!
I'm totally with you on your concept of having the same handgun style for everything, except I carry the banner for Team M&P ;) However I have to give you Glock guys one thing, your mags are WAY cheaper than my M&P mags. God bless you John, I always look forward to watching your new videos when I get home from work, keep it up?
Picking mine up Thursday, 12 August 2001. Got a chance last year to hold a Glock 45 and knew instantly that this was my perfect fit. Found the 19X last week and the angels were singing!!! I still love my Glock 20, 10mm, but the 19X will be my constant companion. Your video? Man, I get it!!
Yep. I impulse bought the Glock 45 and realized I loved it. Added the 19 gen 5, a NSR IWB holster, and now I’m settled on my current EDC rotation. Now I gotta snag a PSA AR9 now that I have a handful of mags!
Picked mine up for $630 about 2 weeks after it dropped from a dealer that had the only 2 at a large gun show. Love the hell out of this gun so much I'm not sure why I bought the G43 afterwards, because I dont carry it.
I'm witcha ACC. Just picked up a 19X on Black Friday, after thinking about one for a while. Hell, been carrying my 19 with 17 mag + X Grip Spacer, anyway. The obvious choice, and loving the 19 round extra mags. Long story short, just installed some Talon grips and Anachri Grip Slide Spiders...with recently shipped INFORCE APL light and custom holster enroute. Super Glock, period. To hell with the haters.
Rock on!! I like mine a lot. The only issues I had was , I wish it was black ( don't like the G45 front serrations) + secondly I was shooting low at 25 yds. I replaced the front sight with a standard height Glock night sight . Now it's good to go!
Good points, and I agree you can't go wrong with G19... it's the jack of all trades kind of pistol. My aging eyes are having a harder time getting a clear sight picture, so I may upgrade to a red dot very soon.
Another great video.... I am all about standardizing. I have had a Glock19 since 1995! I recently upgraded to a 19.5 MOS, I really wanted the 19x but decided to stick with the 19 so I never have to worry about mags.... If I accidentally pick up a 15rnd mag I know it will fit in the 19 where with the 45 or 19x I would have to pay more attention to that. Having said all that.... all my spare mags are 17 rounders....
It he lanyard eye comes off if u look on the back of the grip at the bottom there is a hole with a pin if u push it the lanyard eye will pop out so yes it is made to come off
My favorite I have had was the H&K VP9. The mags are $$. But I went back to the g19. I shoot it the best and the mags are cheap. They just work but boring. I carry a revolver if I carry appendix. Just fits me well to carry appendix. The 19x is attractive. 19 in the mag and close to the same ability to conceal it as the 19. Seems like a wise choice
Just made the switch I've been shooting Springfield xds xdm xds n hellcats for yrs , I picked up the glock 19x and fell I'm love then I played with a glock 43x and sold my hellcat lol so I now own a 19x and 43x and I love them so far haven't shot them yet but hopefully soon after the holidays , great video thanks for sharing new sub here
Loved my 19, but upgraded to a 34 for my battle handgun if you will and recently picked up a SIG 320 compact for my everyday carry. Anyway, love your content and channel.
I just bought one. I was actually looking for a G45 or 19 and I came across the 19X. I have a new 17 also. I’ve been shooting since the 60s and I’m new to Glock’s. I’m kind of a sucker for the color.
Hey John, I was thinking of picking up a regular Glock 19 Gen 5, next time I was at the house. I've seen the 19 x going around a lot, but I'm having a hard time justifying a purchase of what I precieve as another full size handgun. I already own a 1911 and a M&P. It would be used in my travel Minuteman rig. Was looking for a compact lighter and more easily concealed handgun in case I ever needed to ditch my tactical gear. Could be concealed carried while I'm home as well. What are your thoughts on the regular 19 vs the 19x for such a purpose? Thanks.
Glock ain't pretty or flashy but they will get you there. I just don't find the grip angle they use comfortable, thus why I don't have any. Great guns though.
I never wanted a Glock until the Gen 5 came out because I’m left handed. I now own a Glock 19X and Gen 5 Glock 19 mos. I’m going to get a Glock 45 next. I think the Glock 45 & 19X has sorta made the Glock 17 obsolete. I do want a slimline Glock(the Glock 43X and Glock 48) but I have to have that ambidextrous slide release. Hopefully the next generation of Glock slimlines will have ambidextrous slide release.
Carried the 19 forever love the new gen5 mostly because of the finger grooves absence but the triggers even better as well so i kinda fealt the same euphoria when i ran a 19x knew i had have it and as a notible mention i also really like FN 's mhs submission i love my fn 509 fde frame black slide identical diminsions to the 19x and really alot alike i never could stand sub compacts cut off grips just makes for a unpleasant snappy experience i dont care what i conceal i find any gun i conceal kinda of uncomfortable and not enough difference To decide between carrying a xds or a 19 i want more rnds and in a firarm that pleasant to run when that endrinlin dumps into your system ur not only going to have a better shooting system you have alot more ammo to empty on target. Just a no brainer for me
Nice gat John, looks good and can tell it suits/works for you, nothing against Glocks (and that is a *nice* piece in FDE) good firearms from what I know, although like another chap below, am a dinosaur for wood and steel, although in my case, FN Hi-Power. ;)
Which one would work to carry all day, example: day out with family, having lunch and dinner, sitting down some moments of the time. 19x was my first purchase as well just picked it up today. Now looking for the right IWB holster
@@AlphaCharlieConcepts Ok sent it. Next time you go out on a training evolution. Try planing using them. They work great in conjunction with the ranger manual.
got my 19 x reliable as always, but after around 2,000 rds its dlc fde coating started to fade in the rear part of the slide, anyways its a tool...but it just sucks !!!
I have yet to understand the philosophy behind the development of the G19x. To me it would seem the longer barrel of the G17 would offer a longer sight radius and thus theoretically more accurate, and the shorter sight radius and barrel length of the G19 would theoretically be slightly inferior to the G17. But the longer grip of the G17 is theoretically harder to conceal. Why would you put the two negatives of both platforms together in one gun? I don't understand.
Because they aren't negatives. The longer grip is not harder to conceal in reality, but it does give you a leverage advantage in the recoil dept. The G19 is already one of the best/most controllable handguns recoil wise, the longer grip makes it even more so. You then get the added side advantage of more capacity.
I purchased the Glock 19X and I love it. I can conceal carry with no issues. My biggest like is with one in the chamber and both of the extra mags on my left hip, I have 56 total round capacity. Bring on the zombie's!
Alien 👽 gear cloak tuck @ 2 o clock position and you can’t tell the difference between it and the standard 19 .
Very nice. My wife already gives the stink eye when I talk about going to my favorite gun store. Blessings brother.
That's when you grab the money and pop up in the house after work with a glock box. Yea I did. I still get a ear full today lol.
@@randallwhitman6545 Yep..but its worth it.
Totally agree. That’s why I bought a 19x and a g45. Like having a variety. I’m really into the19x it’s replaced my gen3 19 as daily carry
I got the 45 and I can’t wait to get the 19x 😂😂
Don’t forget the 19X comes stock with night sights and Glocks Marksman barrel straight out of the box over the G45!
G45 has the same barrel
I love mine. I will let everything else in my gun cabinet go if I had to except the 19X.
I bought one of those at GT Distributors when they first came out, its my go to war pistol for sure now. Though to be fair, my favorite pistol of all time is a Glock 19. The Glock 19x is awesome!

Thanks. love both of my 19x's.
Amen.. I love mine.
I like the Glock, but it’s got a weird grip angle for me, you just have to adjust accordingly. The Glock is the AK-47 of pistols, it just works.

Kenneth H That’s a tough call. Either would work (for me) but I’d probably say go with a standard 19 for that role/scenario.

I wish they made it in black. I know, the G45... Yea, but I want a 19x in black.
I have a G17 and a 19x. The 19x gives me good balance when shooting.
Great video I bought one last week an yep they are selling the hell out of them
I think the 19x and echelon are the two best handguns.
I had one a few years ago and got rid of it, but I just traded a HK USP 9mm for one and I love it all over again

Glock 19X or Taurus G3 Tactical?
I have a G45 with a Streamlight TLR 8 and it's perfect for me.
You forgot the fact they come with night sites--stock
I feel like I’m in the same boat with changing guns a lot.
Boys. Buy a g45 and swap the slides. Looks 10x better with a black slide.
If an article of clothing doesn't have a skull on it, is it even an article of clothing?
I got a G45 instead. With the intention of buying a 19x, left the shop with the 45

Glock 46 perhaps next year.
Apparently you really like skulls 😂
hey man, I have questions to ask you..
Ask away.
Is the GLOCK 19X easy to conceal than a CZP10C or MP 2.O?
I don't have any first hand experience with either of those so I can't really say.
I gotta get one
