I lost two brand new Leatherman when they first came out, so I never bought one ever again. Nothing wrong with a multi tool. I still have the original Leatherman case that I put my Swiss Knife in that is tried and true. My Swiss Knife skinned a pot belly pig to BBQ. I let my friend use it after he had several kitchen knives out that just didn't work well skinning the pig. I carried that Swiss Knife for at least 10 years finally the handle cracked on it that I've been wanting to replace one of these day's.
They probably stopped carrying Leatherman due to the insane pricing. Most people picking up tools at Home Depot need low cost functional stuff. Like a fastback for example.
Leatherman has seemed to stop selling in big box stores for some reason. Couldn’t find them at Lowe’s or Walmart either. Looks like they only sell them at Tractor Supply in my area.
That's really one of the best knives Gerber makes, because you can put any quality of Razor blade into it. That EAB was my favorite box cutter breaking down freight at work because it took up such little room in the pocket.
I'm not a fan of these Gerber Paraframe knives either, I do not know why they keep making them and trying hard to shove them down our throats, everywhere.😅Obviously somebody must buy them.
They're just awful. I've sharpened so many of them for coworkers and tried to explain the bare basics of knife metallurgy and what you want to buy and what you want to skip. So many give me a hollow expression in response and don't understand why the knife I show them shaving hair off my arm when I give it to them is dull 10 minutes later from light use. Only reason I bother, every once in a while, someone gets it.
Home deis gradually phasing out all the American made real tools for Chinese made tool shaped objects that I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole if my life depended on it.
I bought that Husky flat flashlight and it’s outstanding.

Try out the craftsman knife ..they have a newer one with a compression lock with an easy to use button
Went to 4 Wally World Couldn’t find the Ozark Trail “bugout” style knife but saw a kershaw 3 pack holiday set for $30 which seemed fair.
