hell yeah! so much of our learning to communicate is done through emulation which was the inspiration for this series when we started it about a year and a half ago!
Love your content my man! Met you in stl with motionless in white. My sister got a photo with you! You are probably one of the most polite and high energy people I’ve met! Rock on! 🤘🏼
@@ExtremeVocalInstitute if you're ever running low on content and you don't know what to post consider to start doing more high fry vocals tutorials because we need them, especially with this format of specific singers
Another technique I’ve had a lot of success with while trying to emulate CJ’s lows is cupping the tongue and pushing it against the back of my teeth, while simultaneously pushing the middle of my tongue towards the top back of my palate. Gives a nice throatiness and texture that sounds quite similar. Required IANAVocalCoach and have no idea if this is actually safe to do, sounds nice tho 🤘🏻 love your vids.
Hi! While you could say some of his screams have similar qualities to inhales which is likely from the fact that he is Australian and his accent causes the air to pass through the vocal tract differently than say an American artist, he is more than likely using false cords like David has demonstrated here. “Low” isn’t a technique but a variation on any technique based on different shaping or starting pitch! This series is not about what the artist themselves are doing but a safe and sustainable way to recreate the same tones/feel that most people can achieve as well 😁 Have a good day! - Rilee (EVI co-owner)
The jacket is the most important part

those formats are dope as fuck. doing metal vocals for 15 years and some of those really connect many things so simply. Thank you
