Thanks Jeremy! I appreciate you checking out the video! Something I’ve learned about myself is that I’m always trying to create a “system” for everything😂 It can be a bit tricky to do in the creative field but being able to analyze composition like this really seemed to help!
Hi Troy, I've just discovered your channel and I'd like to say that this type of talk is really excellent, the visuals are superb, the subject is well covered in my opinion, so keep it up!
@@scottievee7467 All good man! It’d be a miracle if I ever shot the same way twice 😂 my mind is always spinning on new (hopefully better sometimes) ways to make an image. This is where I get to put those ideas to the test!
Really enjoyed that Troy

I've got a degree in photography and i then went to films school in the 90's, and I learnt something here today, keep it going@@TroyMairs !
@@JeremyLevis That might be the best compliment I could hope for on video! Thank you!
I love when science/theory meets art. This needs to be in every cinematography lesson/course 🙌
I couldn’t have put it better myself! Something special happens when the two intersect! Thanks for commenting and checking out the vid!
This was so insightful and useful, thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for checking out the videos on my channel! Pumped to have you here!

Sony? I'm looking at the image wondering what happened. Oh. Sorry bud. Especially the tight shot??
Yep Sony👍 probably more significant was the use of my 1980s Leica R lenses for this vid! This was the first time I tried filming myself on these😂
I wasn't being shitty. Just not the same look. All good. Continue.@@TroyMairs
