The Philly Special was my favorite play in the Super Bowl and it still is my favorite play even though we don't run the Philly Special play anymore which stinks! On my favorite Philadelphia Eagles plays list the Philly Special will be at number 1 and then the Brotherly Shove at number 2! The waving by Foles for Clement to get in back of him should have signaled The Pats that Clement was getting the hike and Foles immediately turned into the receiver. Instead, absent Butler, no one shadowed Foles allowing him to receive Trey Burton's pass that Clement had lateralled to him.
Oh, they expected the direct snap to Clement, but not the reverse, and much less Foles going out to be a receiver. It was their focus on Clement that made this such a brilliant call.
