Best play in NFL history hands down, and I'm a 46-year-old lifelong Cowboys fan. When that play went across my screen, you guys got lifted up out of the Commies tier and placed right next to the "meh if they beat us they beat us" NYG tier. I ain't the only one who had a minute of a warm heart either but we'll all lie about it 😂
i can't believe doug had a played called Ncik goes "you want Philly Philly" and script changes. actually gives you chills on how legendary this moment actually is. Given the state of the current Eagles
That play that day wasn't even on Doug Pederson's play sheet. Doug had told referee Gene Sterator before the game that he had no trick plays planned. Nick called to play out of the blue and Doug decided to go with it. Doug had wanted to call the play two weeks prior against the Vikings, but Nick told him they didn't need it as they were crushing Minnesota.
Man I’m telling you in so many years of watching Super Bowls I have never ever seen a coach take that big of a chance in a superbowl 😮hats off to him that was straight gutsy 😳
If this play doesnt sum up the magical ride that season was, I don't know what could. You had an undrafted running back tossing to a third string tight end who threw a touchdown pass to a backup quarterback. That's the magic we had that year!!!
Lifelong Cowboys fan here as well. Do not like the Eagles, but you gotta keep it real. That was one of the most epic plays in NFL history. Glad it happened to the Patriots!
I remember watching and the Patriots had tried something similar and failed. When Philly came out and did the same but succeeded I remember saying: “WOW. Philly just made Tom Brady look like a fucking ASSHOLE.” Absolute momentum and setting the tone for the rest of the game. That play was it.
This is a play that will be remembered as one of the best in NFL history - There is nothing like something so simple, yet so slick and so well done. Fly Eagles Fly - will be watching you today as you take on the Chiefs
mutual respect nick foles "you want Philly philly?" instead of "coach let's run philly philly" doug pederson ***has a played called*** "yea let's do it" totally trusted each other
It’s funny how some of the best plays in SB history were by an NFCE team against the Pats. That throw by Manning and the Philly Special were insane moments
For me it wasn't until Brandon Graham's strip sack. It was then I looked at my wife and said - we're going to win this. I'm kind of tearing up right now. Watched my first Eagles game at age 10 - SB LII I was 57 ---- 45+ years of pain, disappointment and anguish all released in one game.
Im just happy that Nick Foles and Doug Petterson paired up for a historic season. Without that the world may have never known what amazing competitors they were
From being drafted by the Birds..tossed around the league a little. To come back and win a SB with the team that drafted you is fate. I wish the organization would have stayed hungry for Doug and the city after 2017..and not become complacent. Looking back at this that moment was Philly..that moment was the never quit of this city. For that we can look back and say..that happened.
I’ll always regret getting rid of nick I know he’s inconsistent and didn’t have the raw talent Carson had but nick in philly just felt right and I guess we’ll never know (almost had us in the nfc championship the year after this if it wasn’t for a drop)
@@mvpembiid8052 said the exact same thing Saint Nick for the eagles was real and would've led us to back to back sb against the pats if it wasn't for Alston he ferry butter fingers🤦🏾♂️
1. One of the most memorable plays in Eagles history. 2. Merrill Reese is the best football broadcaster of all time! 3. Is there any way to get Doug Pederson back? I can’t handle another year of the petulant dope Nick Sirianni!
BDN: You want Philly Philly?
Doug: You son of a bitch, I'm in

Nick**
that just shows the confidence Nick had in himself and the team, and the confidence of Doug in Nick.
Plus "For whom the bell tolls" starts playing in the right moment and just gives chills
you can see doug stared into nicks eyes and he knew it was meant to be

It’s Doug’s look and processing and then he just goes hell yeah I’m sold
took a moment and looked at Foles face/into eyes to see if there's any shred of doubt. but foles was pure confidence that night.

The stars aligned literally and figuratively
Foles made the call

Im a Cowboy fan but this is one of my favorite NFL moments of all time. Absolute chills
Thanks coming from a Philly fan bro
Respects to you... 👊🏿
Respect. 🦅

Much respect, man.
and thats why theres a statue of Foles. Incredible call
I could watch this another million times
I love how Coach is saying hold up and Foles was outta there before anything could change lol
Goat talk
Even the Pats had to acknowledge the brilliance…that was one of the best calls / executed plays in NFL history based on circumstances.
This play is perfect for many reasons, Foles never doubted, He knew that it was a TD.
Saints fan here. When I saw this play live, I remember saying "Wow, hell of a call!". Philly was deep in their bag in 17. They had a squad for sure.
Amen to that
I remember watching and the Patriots had tried something similar and failed. When Philly came out and did the same but succeeded I remember saying: “WOW. Philly just made Tom Brady look like a fucking ASSHOLE.” Absolute momentum and setting the tone for the rest of the game. That play was it.
forever living in my head rent free
I still get goose pumps when I see this play unfold.
Simply the greatest play in NFL history! Not an Eagles fan have to acknowledge.

I still cry watching that 🦅🦅🦅🦅❤️❤️❤️❤️🦅🦅🦅🦅
It gives me chills every time
This was a pure Philadelphia moment! Without the "W", this is nothing.
"Holy smokes! What did we just see?" Was the only appropriate play by play call for that moment
It’s funny how some of the best plays in SB history were by an NFCE team against the Pats.
That throw by Manning and the Philly Special were insane moments
Best play in SB history. FlyEaglesFly
I've been an eagles fan since the mid 70s. When I saw them do this, it was the first time I thought, 'we might actually win this thing.'
As a philly fan, Fole's cadence is forever etched in my memory.

“I was feeling it right there”
“I know”
How nice of my former favorite team, the Eagles, to keep a STATUE of my new favorite team, the BEARS', QB, Nick Foles, right outside their stadium.
How's that working out for you today?
"Bears release former Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles after 2 years"
"😅Costly mistake, Mr. Bond"
“You gotta go for 3 here”…. Motherfuckers we are the birthplace of a nation, we are the city of Rocky, we swing for the fucking fences let’s go

You want Philly Philly … yea yea … wait hold on… Nick files like here we go!!! No looking back
Corey came to play this game the whole squad came to play please God get us back there this year
Legendary
TEARS 😭 😢
Clement sold that like a boss.
The guard in the tackle cleared out the line
When Nick motioned to Corey Clement to get in a fullback position, the Patriots should have suspected the ball was to be snapped to Clement.
True...but did you notice Corey's hands saying wtf? As if he thought he missed the play call?
HISTORY!!!!
I don't like Philly but I like this.
Wit or witout? Philly Philly!
I cried like a baby.
Only sour pats fan dislike this viedo
Trey Burton kept his glove on his throwing hand so as to not give it away.
I've watched this 1,000 times and this was the first time i thought about that lol. Would have been a little obvious
Luv Nick FOLES!!!
Knew the EAGLES would be just fine after Carson Wentz got hurt!

Even tho they won rams should call nick foles on how to execute this
The eagles team now should do that
