It’s the best feeling in the world is seeing your dolphins getting bet
Notice how collinsworth went silent. It was this moment he realized his butt buddy brady was gonna lose this superbowl lmao
Is it just me, or was Cris Collinsworth super quiet when they convert the play lol. I know he said it could go down as one of the all time play calls in super bowl history, but he was completely silent when they scored. I was at the parade after they won and it was the greatest moment of my life.
Eagles just clinched a playoff spot again this year, but that 2017 was something special and I’ll remember that forever. Carson was on an mvp trajectory and gets hurt and Big Dick Nick steps in and leads us to our first super bowl ever
You hear Collinsworth say "uh-oh" at about 1:05, when Foles moves up. He knows a trick play is coming.
Bill Bellicheck probably knew "philly special" was comming because he was probably stealing the signal, but didn't know what it meant.
0:28 that stare
TODAY IS 2/4 and we celebrate our Superbowl now and until the next one!!!
Al Michael's has the best play call voice ever!!
Do you believe in miracles?? Yes!!!
and we dropped Foles because why?
Because crybaby ass Wentz bitched because all the plyers loved him and Carson wasn't the man in anyone's eyes. He feels nick stole his oneand only chance to be a legend and didn't want him on the team anymore. Per former eagles players and several reports.
Two words: Philly Special
Love the call! Respect to the Eagles and Doug Peterson!
:26 - You can't hear it on this video, but NFL Films picked up the audio and at that time, Foles said to Pederson, "Do you want Philly Philly?", meaning do you want to run the Philly Special. That play was not even on Pederson's playlist that day as he tried to run it against Minnesota the week before, but Foles turned him down saying it was not needed with the big lead the Eagles had. Why it wasn't on Pederson's playlist that day is unknown but Foles basically got Pederson to put in the play and it completely fooled the Patriots. Foles was named MVP for his play and decision making that day.
To paraphrase Jomboy
“The ole ‘direct snap to the running back, reverse, and throw to the QB for a touchdown on 4th down in the super bowl’ never seen it before in my life”
This year, they would have used the "Brotherly Shove."
The Eagles were agressive every single time, and it payed off every single time. If they had failed to make just one big play, the Patriots would have won.
