@@THE_MUNYep, the 95 ton superheavy tutel. Somehow lost in a field, and then later recovered and (somehow) moved to a museum. Absolutely massive thing. That said, I don't know about any T28 HTC ever existing. To my knowledge, the T28/T95 was the only superheavy the US ever built, prototype or otherwise. Not unlikely that it was a paper tank or wooden mockup proposed at some point that was written off as a bad idea pretty quickly though, like many other vehicles in WoT. Without detailed technical specifications, I wouldn't say such vehicles even really qualify as "real" tanks though, albeit not entirely fake either.
I mean, all the stats and actual elements beyond appearance are effectively made up since it didn't even get to prototyping... which often vastly alters the perceived capacity of a vehicle with a reality check. Vehicle redesigns, including a total overhaul of appearance, is more than just possible.
Yay it's the cute fluffy bean who waffles on about how hot it was. Your creativity is pleasant to watch and the way you present yourself is always wholesome and genuine. Plus you do for some reason very much remind me of Ashens heh. Keep doin you and hopefully you'll get much greater growth, I'd love to see more people being so enthusiastic about building tanks and at the same time learning more about armored vehicles and the related history in the design
I named a Maus that was lengthened, shoved the Abrams engine inside, with WW1 type sponson cannons, another turret mounted on top of the Turret with a shit load of MGs sticking out of everywhere. I called it the Hamster
hey there i was experimenting with making ww1 tanks in the geometric update, a great easy way to make cylinder "turrets": slap on a turret, set the basket diameter to your desired cylinder diameter. enable freeform on the turret, go in face mode and highlight every side face and top ones. Switch to points, press DELETE, and now you only have the circle cutout. select them all and extrude the on the Z axis. put on some smoothing and now you have a pretty good cylinder.

Thank you mate, I will certainly be watching your content for a long time to come (I need to learn geometric now))
I would love to see you make a light/ medium tank and then take it and convert it into a tank destroyer or into a spg like would be done with older obsolete tanks
I actually prefer the exterior building bit, but it just feels so weird to watch the interior building bit because I simply don't wanna play the game without combat so I didn't update yet
My lore for this vehicle: The XM-14 (X added for experimental which is a common abbreviation along with others I won’t dive deep into this) was a US prototype/testing armored vehicle designed for the British armed forces and German Bundeswehr to replace the Firefly and StuG series which ended up being scrapped due to the creation of ATGMs however there was an order for 14 from Venezuela which ended up going unpaid due to a collapse in local currency (hope y’all liked my lore)
Ah yes, turtle tanks from war in Ukraine, peak 👍 Fun fact ‘turtle’ tanks are a term used in Ukraine to describe refitted tanks which make them look like moving bunkers, which protects them from drone strikes and other explosive devices
Me hearing "I don't have any talent to begin with." ... You haven't seen my box tank that can barely move. Anyway, do another sci-fi tank! I guess inspiration from Red Alert 3 is probably a good idea. OGs will probably like it too
Tank suggestion: something fast, something slapped together, something with a gun so big your descendants feel the recoil! Think Chariotier and fv4005 had a child
Because you talked about WOT, and this one looked quite futuristic (before you put in the turret was when i had this thought), i want to make the suggestion of making a futuristic (space) tank like the 'new' aat60 in WOT
Possible idea: Battlefield 5 Valentine Archer: Geometric Internals Edition? :D 14:10ish... I want it all, screw choosing one or the other. End of Vid: I never heard of "Turtle Tanks" before, but now that I have and seen their idea here, I think i'm cool with hoppin aboard its Fandom Tank. :D
The T28 HTC (Concept) from WoT is not made up and is in fact based on a real wooden model of one of the early concepts for the T28 project. The T28 Prototype (fully turreted T28) from WoT IS MADE UP. As is the 'T28' without the additional tracks.
Hey Patch, so I was wondering what version of Sprocket you had because I could see you had different modles and such that are not in 0.2.2. And if anyone else could point me in the right direction of getting it that would be heavy appreciated 🙏
Americans when naming tank projects? Should we rename it so its less confusing? No Joe. Do another line of coke rather. We have 3 t28s, 3 t95s, 3 t25s. And dont even get me started on the mile long tank names. Like M48A2/T54E2/T123E6
The T28 HTC in WoT isn't a made up tank, it's based on a wooden model.
I believe one real t28 was built. It was 200k pounds but they still some how found a way to loss it.

WoT tanks sit in a weird quantum superposition. They are neither fully real nor fully false. The Schrodinger's tank if you will
@@THE_MUN The T28 that was built is different than the T28 HTC.

Do a sturmtiger type bunker buster next.

If I can get away with calling my steel death machine something cute like "turtle"; you can bet your arse I'm going to

An M850 Grizzly tank from Halo Wars would be radical. Thanks for attending my Ted Talk.
Those have quad-treads and while those are on the roadmap for the game, they aren't supported yet.
i made a tank out of a excavator
I would love to see you make a light/ medium tank and then take it and convert it into a tank destroyer or into a spg like would be done with older obsolete tanks
i really wish those little side turrets could be used, i know they wouldn't be useful for anything meaningful, but it would be a cool little feature.
your builds in sprocket and flyout are quite inspirational and very creative! i couldn't have done these types of designs better myself, well done!
To make loading easier you could have moved the breech way back to the very back of the turret where the opening is.
You could make a super heavy German tank with the new update. Like if the war was still going in 1947
Design a tank with which the french could've stopped the Blitzkrieg (maybe, probably not because it was mostly a doctrine problem)
Lots of light TDs could have helped
Really like this one! Reminds me of a weird 1950s nuclear tank prototype that never got past a wooden mockup lol
Thank you for the stellar content as always, PatchBits!
You should use the new structures and for the fire walls you can duplicate rotate 90 degrees and put down into the hull
Looks Good. Keep up the great work.
I actually prefer the exterior building bit, but it just feels so weird to watch the interior building bit because I simply don't wanna play the game without combat so I didn't update yet
I'm getting some vibes of the Malcador tank from Warhammer 40,000. Nowhere near as tall as the Malcador, which probably makes the turtle tank better.
Try to build a 40 or so ton german medium tank armed with a 88mm long gun (pls patchie)

This looks like a full tank version of my little tankette that I made a while back, its so cursed, I love it
You should make a French super-heavy similar to the FCM F1
I just wonder, when battle will be compatible with internal, will you do a video dedicated to tests all those tanks ?
You should try NavalArts and build a ww2 destroyer 👀
I second this

Cannyou make a under 5 ton tank with 200+mm pen? It is possible, I have done it before.
