A lot of them can LFP and hit your cupola with APHE or fat HE or HEAT but yeah, if you hide your LFP in downtiers you are near invincible. Honestly 3BM25 is overrated, it's probably one of the worst early darts and it doesn't do half the damage of German, American and Japanese darts. I honestly just quit the battle every time my dart does no damage to a Leo 1 that can wipe it's ass with me in 1 shot.

It literally has the most damage of any dart below 9.3 when the MBT 70 with its 152mm dart takes the crown, but taht thing has low pen. My 3BM25 almost always oneshots even with exceedingly badly placed shots, like shooting the drive sproket of a leo 1 and not even gracing the ammo kills all of the leos crew for some magical reason. Its so good that I almost exclusively played it at 9.0 with the BMD4 during my grind up to the rest of the 8.7s and above you must have the same historically accurate T55 as that other guy who said his APS never works against missiles while everyone else never gets past it

906, am1, amd, bmp2, pt-76-57, 685, maybe btr(not that its especially competitive but its fun) and not to mention mi24 and the decent selection of cas (helis and cas if ye got no dignity). bushes also serve to compound the issue. if they were french, japanese or british you'd be pretty safe in betting gaijin would raise them at least a full br. doesnt help that russia just continually gets super full and strong lineups at so many brs.

the T-55AMD is my most played tank, and the reason is, its just so much fun. helicopters do basically nothing to you and its gun is so strong at 8.7, especially when 8.7 is like 85% of the time a down teir
Absolutely! 3BM25 can have it's artistic moments, so to say, but I also bring some APHE just in case. Also what is nice about APHE and LRF is that you can sometimes arc your shots over small hills while staying 95%+ behind cover. Also it's one of rare Soviet tanks that get smoke launchers which is always welcome, a true Soviet army knife.
Try the CCKW353AA us you want to relax. Kinda invincible, has a 1.7 second reload for an insanely powerful gun. Sadly did get up-BRed recently to 2.7, but you can still get 20 kill games with it.
Yeah playing 7.7 is so much pain, it sucks ass how many times i face M60s and M48s with the T-54, or the IS-3, or BTR 80. Once you get some 8.0 in your lineup it gets a little better, but it is still just outright p a i n
My father used to be a commander of T55 AM1 and AM2 when he was in military, he said that the could easily go over 70 km/h. When I showed him the tank in War Thunder, he said it's totally unrealistic :D
You know... lots of people who served in the red army and allied armies say stuff about the capabilities of their vehicles which contradict reality. I mean every russian has now a father who serves in a T90 and says that "western tanks can not penetarte the T90 anywhere" and that the "T90 can go 70km/h offroad" and my favourite from just last week. A guy whose "father" serves in a T90 and that T90 can "go 28mph backwards" So I like to stick to what we see rather than what we are told when it comes to russian stuff. Lots of imagination and fantasies going around

Thing is pivoting and twitching like it's glued to the ground in this video (is it AB? 31 Hp:ton would explain a little). IRL the steel tracks on T-55 aren't designed for maximum friction so they can drive on roads, so even off-road there's a lot of sliding going around. But that'd make it hard to play and then they'd actually have to know how to drive and that's not Russian bias so Gaijin can't have that
I recall you saying that you love the 6-pounder. You should play the crusader mk.III that is armed with it. Despite bad depression and a miserable reverse gear, it's a solid light tank.

The T55 AMD1 really has it all. Mobility, Firepower, survivability and a overall nice aesthetic. And it's also small in comparison to many other tanks in it's BR range.

I don't really have a tank suggestion so here's some fun trivia instead: At one point in time the He 112 A-0 had a belt that only had training rounds in it with functionally 0 damage, making it possibly the single most useless loadout in the game.
Fun fact, the "Training belts" in this game are actually not training belts but simple solid AP belts (also called "ball belts" by the british in their 303 mgs) So them dealing next to 0 damage is not realistic at all as the ammo called "ball" in the game was actually among the most prevelent anti air rounds until the introduction of HE filled 20mm rounds and incendiary rounds. Or in other words, AP and "Ball" are the same round yet this game treats "Ball" and AP as seperate rounds.
The APS system will fire only on slow projectiles(rockets and missiles) and in very specific distances and areas( two cones shaped with a least 50m from your turret). So point to helicopters who might fire at you, may save you sometimes.
I'm sorry to hear you're on dialysis mate, that's a rough time no matter how you slice it. Also, this thing, along with the AM-1, regular T-55, T-62 and T-10M is a very spicy line up.
Ive also had that "lag" thing with my tank recently. I am pretty sure it's because the enemy round/atgm/rocket or whatever has a big amount of explosive just creates a creator beneath your tanks track and so the tank is struggling to keep it's current stable position as the game thinks your tank isn't fully on the ground. I am not 100% sure tho if that's it. I've also had that happen with arty, bombs and big HE rounds. So yea. Hope that helps. Also, get well soon :D

1,5l can't be absorbed in a reasonable amount of time anyway (it's about 0,5 per hour for an avg adult) even with electrolytes, and also sugar of all kind binds water (about 3g per 1g of sugar) so it's counterproductive to hydration. Hope I helped.

The coolest moment I had in war thunder was with my friend, me and him were playing the Panzer four H on the snowy map with a tunnel, we both completely wiped the C point with five kills each, we proceeded to go into their spawn and get two more kills each, when we died we came back in cas and killed the enemies going to C. We ended up winning too.
This was favorite tank to use at the BR because I was struggling (and had bad luck) with ATGM tanks so it felt pretty comical to chase a marder around a section of a map
Tandem warhead doesn't _necessarily_ mean it will defeat APS. What can happen however is when the APS sets off the ATGM, the HEAT jet still can form and may still have enough energy to pen the tank, especially in the side like was shown. This happens a lot less often with more modern composite armored tanks like the Merkava and Challenger black night. I've had sufficiently powerful ATGMs get intercepted by my drozd only for it to still pen my turret. The tandem warhead increases the chance of this ever so slightly, at least in reality, idk how it's modeled exactly in game, because one of the HEAT charges might still be intact enough to form a jet properly.
For some reason, Drozd will sometimes not intercept a missile if you're staring right at it, but if you slightly angle the turret it'll block essentially everything. Don't know why, ask Gaijin...

Also, this thing, along with the AM-1, regular T-55, T-62 and T-10M is a very spicy line up.
Ive also had that "lag" thing with my tank recently. I am pretty sure it's because the enemy round/atgm/rocket or whatever has a big amount of explosive just creates a creator beneath your tanks track and so the tank is struggling to keep it's current stable position as the game thinks your tank isn't fully on the ground. I am not 100% sure tho if that's it. I've also had that happen with arty, bombs and big HE rounds. So yea. Hope that helps.

1,5l can't be absorbed in a reasonable amount of time anyway (it's about 0,5 per hour for an avg adult) even with electrolytes, and also sugar of all kind binds water (about 3g per 1g of sugar) so it's counterproductive to hydration. Hope I helped.

The coolest moment I had in war thunder was with my friend, me and him were playing the Panzer four H on the snowy map with a tunnel, we both completely wiped the C point with five kills each, we proceeded to go into their spawn and get two more kills each, when we died we came back in cas and killed the enemies going to C. We ended up winning too.

This was favorite tank to use at the BR because I was struggling (and had bad luck) with ATGM tanks so it felt pretty comical to chase a marder around a section of a map

Tandem warhead doesn't _necessarily_ mean it will defeat APS. What can happen however is when the APS sets off the ATGM, the HEAT jet still can form and may still have enough energy to pen the tank, especially in the side like was shown. This happens a lot less often with more modern composite armored tanks like the Merkava and Challenger black night. I've had sufficiently powerful ATGMs get intercepted by my drozd only for it to still pen my turret.
The tandem warhead increases the chance of this ever so slightly, at least in reality, idk how it's modeled exactly in game, because one of the HEAT charges might still be intact enough to form a jet properly.

For some reason, Drozd will sometimes not intercept a missile if you're staring right at it, but if you slightly angle the turret it'll block essentially everything.
