I dont unstand the importance of being under $100. Why not spend a little more and do a great job? Obvious issues with the paint, no primer? no clear? Hell if you want to save money just roll house paint? Stepping over dollars to pick up pennies. oh well, whatever makes you happy.
Classic cars used cellulose paint and did not have clear coat. I remember a friend having a small Marcos painted for a cost of 4 GBP. About 6 dollars and it was a great paint job. That was in 1973. I think the paint was left over from another paint job on a bigger car. How times have changed.
Honestly, for these cars, this is a perfect paint job! Awesome job
Glad you think so!
This looks really good.. I've got a 1953 Austin truck that I've wanted to try to paint myself.. This might give me the needed courage.
i wish you all the luck, i learned painting on RUclips.
well done
Thanks

I agree why go to all that bother and skimp on the paint and body prep bit more time and another 200 quid and he could have had a much better job
