i bought a x3.0 for "only" 800€ and run it with 50-60 psi. those tires are badass. i cycle on gravel and road in summer and winter (snow). no need to change those tires. they are one of the best tires ever made. didnt expect such good tires on a bike like that. the sirrus x model is in my opinion a very good hybrid bike and for sure worth the money.

no the sirrus x 2.0 is a great bike the 2.0 just has a little bit beter gears and a little better brake sbut nothing he will be bummed about the x2.0 is a great bike and works amazing

I have the earlier X 3.0 and wanted a workout bike too. after riding and getting more fit, I tried to make it more like a road bike, I bought smaller road tires, new pedals, different grips. I did well but wanted to go faster and farther so this year I bought a used Roubaix. I'll likely keep both bikes for different purposes.

that does sound like a nice deal for sure I mean it comes down to which color you like and model more, but I mean if you prefer the trek for the compoinents then go that route either weay they wil be nice choices both great brands

I"m 6' 4" and have had an XL on order for months now and it's not expected in before Oct-Nov. the shop called today saying they have a Large in same color I wanted just it's a large and not an XL. They say we can change the stemm to a 120mm stem and essentially make the length about the same as the XL. I know the stem will change the way the bike steers and change the weight distrabution. i'ts not a mountain bike and I won't need the short stem for fast turning etc. I'm going to test it out tomorrow and see how I like it but wanted an appionon for a 6' 4" person on a large sized frame on this bike. I'm tall and work out so i'm about 200- 210lbs. I can pass on the L and just wait for the XL to come in if I don't like how the L feels after the stem is swapped.

I know it is a late reply, but I live in Nashville, and I use my bike to commute. It is very hilly here and this bike is great for short 10 - 15-minute commute even with hills or if you are going slow. However, once I am working out and tackling steep hills with my friends, I often wish I had more gears haha. I wouldn't necessarily call it a climbing bike.

I've owned quite a few bikes in the past that were absolutely uncomfortable to ride and they always ended up as garage wall decor . I'm not seeing that with this one. It's pretty light I've only ridden it a few miles but I like it . As for the pedals falling off in the other reviews , the pedal arms are aluminum along with the pedal studs look to be also . I would not overtighten them. I can see it would be very easy to overtighten them and strip the threads right off . All in all I think it's pretty good quality besides the aluminum pedal thing .

Personally, i think the mid-range hybrid are the best bang for your buck if you are into those type of bikes, this is a nice alternative to a diverge.

Don’t mean to be picky but if you’re doing a review, you should know how many teeth the front crankset has especially when it’s a 1X10 only.

After a year I don't know what you did, I have the x3 and I tested it with a 2.0. Very similar.

yes it can be u might have to take care of it a little more and alos the gear for the chainring might be a little restricting but ti works great
