    When i hpa any gun the disco heads i make seal internally past the tube stamping so the pressure is kept inside unstamped tube. Also I run 850 regs so very close to co2 pressure. The highest reg I run is 1100 - 1200psi for .177

    all pcp air gun need 3 screws for any pressure over co2 get a pcp tube with 3 screws and it will be safe never try to make one out of a co2 gun it will fail because of not enough screws for valve but tube is weak at all engravings so no pressure above 945 which is co2 static pressure at 70 deg f .i have a pcp 2260 running at 3000 psi and is super safe.

    Ya that way you shouldn't use the co2 tube on the crosman. I don't understand why people use the stock co2 tube. Not a good idea. If you want to build a crosman 22xx to a hpa the safe way is to use a disco, discovery tube and valve it's the same thing but it's already made for hpa the drilled and taped holes already done . Plus they have up grade valve screw that will let you go up to 3000psi fill. Ya The drop block on the gun showen is scary. The screws need to be sitting in side of the tube so the head of it stops it from moving. Not threw the tube and valve. The threads are weak and can snap. There always a safe way to do things slow down and take your time hpa is nothing to play. Get trips would love to see the fix and out come till the next great one😎✌️👍👌

      Agreed about not using the standard crosman tube to run full 3000psi, but the tube in the video is only seeing 850psi from the regged bottle, as you know this is what psi co2 runs at when released and turns into a gas from its liquid form. Give or take depending on temperatures. The tubes is I remember from a previous test will run up to 1800psi, I personally would not exceed 1200psi in the tube. Apparently the weak point is the tube stamping but i personally have never seen one fail. And that is also one of the reasons to use a disco head as that seals the tube before the stamping. Agreed if you want to go full hpa without a bottle or reg then yes disco tube all the way or custom tube made from seamless tube

    How much do you charge to convert a 2250 xl to hpa?

    • @peasngravyproductions3728
      @peasngravyproductions3728  3 года назад

      It all depends on what parts you supply or I supply, some people get their own 13ci bottle which ranges from 40 to 50£ or second hand from one of the groups, there is stuff like do you want the valve tuned or left standard, valve pinning, disco head, drop blocks tube mods and after it's done your front barrel band sits further back towards the breech so preventing you from fitting your foregrip. It can also depend on whether you send the full gun or just the tube and valve.

    Hi good information I'm thinking of doing a conversion on a 2260. But do you think it'd be possible to do a conversion on a Sheridan C9 series to a bottle?

    • @peasngravyproductions3728

      You would need to cut down the tube a lot but the problem is the barrel is soldered to the tube so may not be the best idea I'd need to check

      Tbf I got a shock. When i took the valve screw out it was bent and the threads crossed. Thankfully I can save that. I dread to think what would of happened if it had of come out. 1000psi behind the valve would have made a mess.

    • @peasngravyproductions3728
      @peasngravyproductions3728  4 года назад +1

      The pinning is to aid in locking the valve in place, I use M5 stainless grubs, different manufactures anchor their valves in different ways, am not sure how a cricket goes together so unsure of what would be needed to do a bottle conversion but it's just engineering so anything is possible. Gmac sell drop blocks they are from the SMK 79 air rifle and modded to fit the crosman gas tubes. Also guys on my group make custom one's.
