Yes! I went to their site and they do have the Conversion Parts to make the modification! Weird how Crosman stopped selling the one they had! Anyway, My hope is to create the "ULTIMATE CUSTOM CROSMAN 1077"! I want to find a way to have the 12oz. tank mounted under the barrel, like the Crosman mod kit had. Will keep you posted. Thanks!
Hi Brutuz62, thanks for the great videos, I pick up a 2240 Max Flow Valve with the end cap cap is very hard to go past the seal any help would be a BIG plus thanks very much,
What is the purpose of the extension through the powerlet body?Surely it is not gas tight and allows the body to pressurise..why not use the space to store CO2 ? Thanks John
so please inform me on this your putting a powerlet eliminator in theirs an empty co2 cart left in their or will the Max Flow valve work with the Eliminator, and yes I will be pinning the valve, thanks
can that bottle be filled with a pcp stirrup pump if not why i would be interested to know nice guns by the way i have a 2250b my self and am very happy with it i do have other guns but find the crosman ratcatcher very easy to customize
Buy a pcp for the price of all these parts. Even in bulk they change with the weather. I left my 2240 capsule feed getting 567ish with 14.9 grain 17 full power shots. Just my opinion.
a removable cilinder thats hold 45 grams co2 or so would be more usable ,one that fits in the tube and screws tight and seals like the trow away co2 cartridge and extends the gun tube for the needed volume.
nice vedio ! just a question that what is the pressure (in psi) of the carbon dioxide tank that you used ? and while using that tank, how much pressure can be created in the air tank of the gun ?? Thnx
Absobloodylutely stonkin! Thanks mate. I am a complete newbie, I've had a rattie for years bought to play with, with my son. He's grown and left now and I fancy pimping the ratty up and having some fun on my own. How many shots will this give the gun? Is there a multi-shot magazine available for these guns, so that you don't have to draw the bolt every time and put a pellet in?
so whats the FPS with that setup I'm doing the Eliminator in one 2240, has a .177 barrel 24" and the next 2240 will be .22 with a Max Flow valve using the poly tubing for TP, Thanks
Actually, I'd like mine to be like the GB-78/79 from Archer... Should not be too hard right? Maybe I just need to replace the valve with the one that GMAC has??? Thanks!
I was wondering when you were going back to your roots. I think Co2 runs in your DNA. Good vid and how do you feel about hanging tanks or qb79 blocks for bulking?
Brutuz62 having a tough time finding any where to get my small 12 oz tanks refilled, should I switch from co2 to HPA, or buy a bigger tank and refill my smaller tanks like that, thanks
I never advise switching to HPA, this 22xx platform is designed for co2 pressure. Cheapest way is to contact a fire extinguisher company. They MUST collect co2 fire extinguishers that may not be refilled anymore, they HAVE to pay a recycling company to get rid of them so instead giving you 2 of them in return for a (big) bag of cookies is very well possible. That's how I did it. Offer chocolate cookies when you call them. Ask for the maintenance dept.
Does this fill the bottle with c02 liquid or gas coz I've been told you got to put the fire extinguisher upside down to fill the bottle with c02 liquid?
Hi. I have just gone to bulk fill. Is it ment to leak a little from the female quick release adaptor. Well i think that is where it is coming from not much but i can here it leaking?
Wow!!! Ok im sold... I think im gonna build a 2250 since they are not available here in canada... Anyways thanks for the info... Im just gonna buy 3 co2 tanks....
if you drill holes in the tube between the inside valve and the cap will the outside tube work as a tank making a larger tank on the gun with no need for exterior tank
You may have changed the way you fill since posting this, but I'd like to let you know the safest way to fill co2 tanks. You're supposed to weigh them AS you fill
I totally agree. At the present moment, I think I have five of them. I am not sure because I have at least enough parts to put together two, maybe three! Three would make my total go to six. I have one tricked out CustomShop pistol with LW barrel for fancy shooting. All of the others are customized in some way. One has a 24 inch barrel, another has a cut off, no more than a 7" barrel. Two are carbines, the rest a pistols. Well, at the moment they are. When I was in high school, it was motorcycles that I wanted to customize. When I got married and had some income, it was cars I wanted to customize. Now, as an old retired guy I have more common sense and less money, I have the 2240. Who would have thought?
I would like to talk to you about the Bakail target pistol that got in Poland. Or, was it Germany? Anyway, can we just jump to regular email or something?
So do I need to apply pellgunoil to the tip of the adapter touching the valve? I have the part but I can't find in other reonmendations on the GMAC site.
+Brutuz62 How often do you lube? Does GMAC have recommendations on their site. The product just came invoice and fittings as ordered. I'll find you on GTA as well.
Just upon inserting it, a thin coat. Gmac has a few how to vids on their website. But 22xx'es are like Lego, step by step and common sense should be enough. Any helping vids on RUclips are a bunus ;-)
Dude I have been trying to work out what I need to bulk fill my XS78 and stumbled on this. It's excellent, extremely helpful and without a load of waffle. I like your style would it be possible to do a short video on the fitting names, it's confusing to a newbie some of given in imperial and some are metric. I have access to full size welding CO2 and am thinking of decanting them into sodastream which seems to be a really strange fitting. Any help with the fitting names would be appreciated.
Land Rover Addict Shoot Gmac an email and he'll sort it for u or look here www.gmaccustomparts.com/epages/BT3197.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/BT3197/Categories/%22All%20XS/QB_78%22/Bulk_Fill_Parts
no not possible because the valve is not sealed into the tube like a QB78. The Crosman 22xx co2 caplets seal on the face of the valve. Hence this solution by Gmac shown in the video.
Replacing the quick release fitting with a fill nipple that has the 1 way fill valve will accomplish that.. How ever before storing you need to degass the lower tube
als je t spulletje op een tafel legt kan je prima staand of zittend schieten, of je hangt de fles aan je riem, zoals met paintballen of airsoften bijvoorbeeld
+tattooglisha co2 selfregulating no need to worry about values of pressure, with air there is the danger of the valve's securing screws to sheer and launch the valve from the back of the tube smack into your face. Now that's not what you are looking for eh?
+tattooglisha If you haven't already done your conversion I'd hold up. At 22.4 C (72F) CO2 has a vapor pressure of 870psi (60 bar). High Pressure air tanks are at 3000PSI minimum, often as high as 4500psi (310 bar). Which is to say a High pressure air tank without a regulator will put out many times the pressure of what anything in a CO2 system is meant to handle. I don't KNOW if this is true, but I believe if you used a regulated HPA tank (such as Ninja) they can put out between 450 and 850 psi when you adjust the regulator. The point is at regular temperatures CO2 will probably have a max pressure of 1000psi, or whatever the burst disk pressure is. High pressure air starts at a pressure of easily 3 or 4 times that. Easy. Any part of a CO2's system will likely be destroyed if you just attach an HPA tank without an appropriate regulator. When a pneumatic system fails you'll find yourself in a potentially very dangerous position.
this video is still very relevant to this day, much love Brutuz62

I like this idea very much
Best video..I love it man...great job!! Just subscribed...and dumb up...
Still amazed that you can take a $100 pistol and turn it into a fancy effective killing rifle.💪🏻🇺🇸
It's like a canvas isn't it
I'm in the presses of ordering the Eliminator, a few other parts coming from Stuart at GMAC
so you're tethered by a trailing bottle ?
A boss valve did the trick, I got mine from Gmac as getting stuff from the states means expensive shipping and a customs fee at the Dutch end
Sir, i hope you can share where can i buy the conversion kit, very nice video
very very nice good shots
Hi Brutuz62, thanks for the great videos, I pick up a 2240 Max Flow Valve with the end cap cap is very hard to go past the seal any help would be a BIG plus thanks very much,
Thank, love the 22xx'es I have and will never sell them ;-)
Only co2 bulkfill experience I have is what's shown in the vid, sorry
What is the purpose of the extension through the powerlet body?Surely it is not gas tight and allows the body to pressurise..why not use the space to store CO2 ?
Thanks
John
tube is not gas tight hence it seals like a powerlet
sorry I should of watch the rest of the video how would the numbers go up as far as FPS, Thanks
so please inform me on this your putting a powerlet eliminator in theirs an empty co2 cart left in their or will the Max Flow valve work with the Eliminator, and yes I will be pinning the valve, thanks
can that bottle be filled with a pcp stirrup pump if not why i would be interested to know nice guns by the way i have a 2250b my self and am very happy with it i do have other guns but find the crosman ratcatcher very easy to customize

a removable cilinder thats hold 45 grams co2 or so would be more usable ,one that fits in the tube and screws tight and seals like the trow away co2 cartridge and extends the gun tube for the needed volume.
the 1077 has a very deep recess for the cylinder i would have hoped a double length/ volume cylinder would be available but evidently not.
so you say high pressure air ( here you go) is a CPAP OR BREATHING MACHINE possible to use as you can regulate the air pressure, thanks
the platform is designed to be used with co2
nice vedio ! just a question that what is the pressure (in psi) of the carbon dioxide tank that you used ? and while using that tank, how much pressure can be created in the air tank of the gun ?? Thnx
+Dipayan Das co2 is self regulating, Google "wiki co2" for the numbers

You are wraping the PTFE tape the wrong way!!
I know but the weird thing is: it's working, no leaks
VERY VERY NICE
Does it have to have the bottle connected permanently or do you charge the gun? Does this increase the power of the gun at all?
so whats the FPS with that setup I'm doing the Eliminator in one 2240, has a .177 barrel 24" and the next 2240 will be .22 with a Max Flow valve using the poly tubing for TP, Thanks

Nice, thank you for posting.
Does the powerlet-eliminator stay pressurized when removing the hose?
cool but why not put the elbow on the air hose instead of the gun ? the chart would be more fun in FPS ?
I was thinking dump a paintball regulator in there to keep a consistent fps
I was wondering when you were going back to your roots. I think Co2 runs in your DNA. Good vid and how do you feel about hanging tanks or qb79 blocks for bulking?
what if you drill holes in the tube going inside to open co2 value then put a valve on outside you could fill the inside of the gun
have a look at the Crosman 2250XT
Brutuz, what other tunes did you do to the carbine to get 600+ fpe?
I think Gmac sells 1077 adapters
Brutuz62 having a tough time finding any where to get my small 12 oz tanks refilled, should I switch from co2 to HPA, or buy a bigger tank and refill my smaller tanks like that, thanks

@@Brutuz62 thanks
Great video, can you tell me how many shots(approx ) you can get from a 9oz or 12oz co2 bottle, thx Brutuz62.
Depends if and how the pistol has been tuned, but we are talking about hundreds of shots
thx Brutuz62
@Brutuz62 that freaking amazing..I just gotta love ur awesome work!!!
Does this fill the bottle with c02 liquid or gas coz I've been told you got to put the fire extinguisher upside down to fill the bottle with c02 liquid?
Co2 ext have a pipe that goes to the bottom, so it can stand upright when filling a bottle
@@Brutuz62 thank you for that pal .
Do you need to keep a bottle permanently attached or can you just fill the tube?
the tube isn't filled at all Roy
@@Brutuz62 ahh was hoping it was just a replacement for the bulbs. Not any interest if you need to keep a bottle always attached. Thanks for the info
Hi. I have just gone to bulk fill. Is it ment to leak a little from the female quick release adaptor. Well i think that is where it is coming from not much but i can here it leaking?
dhudson369 Nope it's not meant to leak anywhere, best check if all has been tightened up
how many shots do you get from say a 12 oz co2 paintball tank? thanks in advance!! nice toys!
+jonthemagician666 Hi J about 400 or 500 shots depending on state of tune

if you drill holes in the tube between the inside valve and the cap will the outside tube work as a tank making a larger tank on the gun with no need for exterior tank
Tube cannot be pressurized as the od of the valve is not sealed, maybe I dont understand you, could you rephraze pls
Could this be done to the Crosman 1077? Thanks!
Yes. There's adapters to fit 88gr/90gr and 7oz/9oz bulk bottles into the 1077
Were can I get the brass pice the goes to the gun
hello can you please tell me where you got your end cap piercing stem
Please tell me. Where can I buy the end cap with hole threat for connect to the fitting ? Thank you.
Hi Luc, at Gmac, link is in video description
I assume the tanks are full when you get them?
Yep the ones I got all were sealed and unused
I'm stateside, but just ordered from gmac. Are those fire extinguishers safe. or are they just wxpired for fire protection use.
They are safe, just not allowed to re-fill them after use anymore
You may have changed the way you fill since posting this, but I'd like to let you know the safest way to fill co2 tanks. You're supposed to weigh them AS you fill
thanks
if you immediately after filling weigh and evt blow of the filled cilinder ,there is now problem ,because its not heated up yet
you can use hpa tank insted co2,, the output 850 psi, dosent matter if the HPA TANK say 3000 psi, that its not the output
I'd never do that, when I want to shoot hpa I use hpa designed guns, no matter what the hpa output.
@@Brutuz62 the output hpa and co2 is the same, i use hpa tank 3000 psi, 13 cc with 2240, and 3000 psi 48 cui with dpms sbr with no problem
What is the name of the piece that holds the co2 tank inside under the barrel of the 2250
that would be the caplet eliminater
Hey Brutuz ... It has been 3 years since you posted this critter. Do you have anyting new to add >?
