Hi, air leaks many times, the only true way is to remove the breech and barrel along with the tp, take the stock and trigger frame off. Now with the action and bottle fitted with air in it put it in a sink of water or a container of some kind that will find your leak. Then strip it dry it fix it. Works every time. Only true way to find your leak. Last leak I had was from a 5k burst disc on the reg of a brand new bottle.
thanks for the video. i have a brand new sheridan 2260 mb and it fell over and bent the barrel badly. when the new barrel gets here, i will change it out.
Bliddy hell it must have fell heavy to bend a barrel. If it's still got the standard plastic breech it can move about a fair bit as the standard barrel bands arnt the best. Take off the barrel and if you can roll it on a flat surface preferably glass. You will see the bent. Or if it's as bad as you say you could always cut it and made a shorter barrel
I there, I've got a as2250 which had a air source 88g bottle, now as got a 200ci hpa bottle it works great but loosing air after 24 hrs fitted new seals and o rings Have you come across this problem many thanks
Yes you can swap all the 2240 parts to a 2260 tube. You will need the 2260 co2 end cap and 2260 barrel. Your trigger frame will fit but you will either keep the 2240 grips and have the longest 2240 ever or add the 2250 stock. If you want to use the 2260 wood stock you will need the 2260 trigger unit or one from a disco. The only other thing is the 2240 transfer port is smaller than the 2250/60 one. As you know as soon as you change barrels and transfer ports on a 2240 you will take the power over 6lbs. Hope this helps

Normally you can take the co2 cap off then point the gun down and cock and fire it a few times sometimes that's enough for it to drop out if not a strip down is in order. I've even seen hot glue on a stick and attach it to the cart. After cooling pull the cart out.
Sometimes if your using a heavy hammer spring or a power adjuster wound right up when the valve stem is hit hard the pierce pin can get stuck in the co2 cart preventing the valve from closing thus expelling all the co2, or there could be contamination on the valve seal and not sealing completely or the valve seal is worn. Try putting a new cart in and after the first cock and fire do it a few more times rapidly (cock, fire, cock, fire) sometimes that can reseat the valve seat or clear any contamination
Thanks for the video, just stripped and rebuilt my sons gun using it. And swapped the port out for the one you recommended.
Glad to have helped great stuff, enjoy your shooting simon

Hunters life good watch mate 👌👌
If you mean the tiny hole on the top of the drop block then I would say it's the bottle seal on the end of the reg.
Would the 2260 main tube got the 2240 so I can use 2 co2 bulbs together
Nope as the end cap isn't sealed neither is the head. If you want this lay out you need an smk 78
I want to put the 2260 main tube on a 2240 ..do you think it would match up
