Only highlight of the ride for me, genuinely. It just feels like they’ve cobbled all Intamin ride highlights into one ride but then gave up after the top hat with theming and ride experience. It’s a very good ride I’m just at a loss for why it never really captured me, I came off and didn’t get that urge or excitement to ride it again and I can’t put my finger on just what it was that didn’t blow me away
@Lift Hills and Thrills I hear ya, It's DEFINITELY a backrow ride to get the most out of it by the looks of things...the themeing that is there is great but a little sparce and cobbled together, however that station interior I worldclass!...I see the coaster as Velocicoasters little cousin, probably 7/10 and no where near the level of Taron! But I'm like you, never been on Taron but I just know it's a benchmark coaster.

I thought it was little hyped until I rode it later in the day multiple times and it was hauling. And, back row is much better. Though it will never be better than Taron for me, but that's more due to Taron's length and it's just slightly better quality. My first ride on Taron was much better than my first ride on Touty.. I remember that much, it feels like much more of a complete package and experience if you get me. Well worth a trip out there even without F.L.Y.! I don't let myself get hyped up for things any more so I went in with not much in the way of expectations, and didn't let myself get disappointed, and the late in day back row rides were phenomenal so left the park really happy with the ride, firmly in my top 20. And I think Nemesis is better (but for me, only by one place in my top coasters!). Personally I think they should take the trim off the drop and make it world-class nuts for the second section haha, THEN it'd be worth the hype I'm sure...
@@robhaley5136 The second section lets it down massively and for me makes it feel like a separate ride that's no consistency there and it's absolutely a back-row ride it did next to nothing for me on the front row yet the back row amped up the elements to the max. I know Taron will be better it's the full package and I even watched the POV of this before visiting and it felt exactly how I was expecting it to, if Taron has that same effect on me it's going to be MILES better! It's on the list, very, very soon! aha
@@LiftHillsandThrills Yeah I could tell from the POV. Taron isn't always super intense (though from memory it was DEF more intense than Touty) but it is insanely fun, and you can't beat not being able to escape the theming. You are quite right, it does feel disjointed - and after the airtime hill after the stall it's a bit meh until the very cool inversion (I actually preferred this last inversion to the last inversion on Zadra as it was whippier). Though if comparing this to Zads LOL no contest. Hard enough to compare the back row of Toutatis to the front of Zadra... never mind the BACK of Zadra where your world falls apart ha
Very happy with your review honest as always I haven’t rode it but it seems like a mix of ice breaker (backwards launch and spike ) and velocicoaster (launch into the top hat) not sure about the trim break 😂
I think it looks awesome, I have heard mixed opinions, just like with Kondaa which I thought was a bit dull unfortunately, it did nothing for me and no where near as good as Taron
I love Taron but this ride blows Taron out of the park. Taron is more of a family thrill coaster with little airtime but lots of cool twists and launches.
It’s a toss up between Zadra and Ride to Happiness at the moment but I haven’t been on enough coasters overseas to really impact that decision too much yet. The fun is in the exploring!
Excellent coaster but falls short when compared to Taron & Velocicoaster.

I love your honesty Sean. We’re going to this park this year due to the hype as this park has never appealed to me in the slightest before.
It’s definitely worth a visit but maybe only the once, the hotel looks stunning!

Trim break definitely slowed down proceedings! The second half after that bit is just unthemed and a bit meh
