The Paris version used to be 3D for almost 10 years.. since a month or 2 they turned it off. Not sure why, but I believe It's part of a test in which they look what the guest does prefer (2D/3D). But I guess we'll see :))
Well, after watching the video, it is pretty interesting. Ironman apoke a different language while the lady on the monitor spoke English. I liked the part when the flames and the water came down.
DLP is a different experience for DW. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. Disneyland park is arguably better than Magic Kingdom. Frontierland in Paris destroys MK Frontierland.
DW is much bigger and has much more to offer, also the hotels are more magical. The food is better themed and much more merch. I only like the castle better in Paris.
I was there a month ago, I felt the same vibes at the cars attraction, because the first time I experienced the CCanyon was in Florida many years ago at MGM Studios (2004). You had to do Crush Coaster, that’s a MUST, also the Pixar Musical Show you missed it, and it is the most incredible experience ever. Thanks for sharing, I’m a huge fan of DLP
He can’t ride it, he won’t fit. The seats on Crush coaster are really really small! I wish Disneyland Paris would give the opportunity to try if you fit in the seat before getting in line, like in Tokyo and many US parks.
Nice ! The Tower if Terror has 3 different versions that you can experience. There's one a little creepier than the other two. Ratatouille was 3D for some time, I don't know why they changed it to 2D.
The scariest version was when the one in California was about to close, they kept all of the lights off during the ride, dead silence and pitch black. What an experience it was!
@@vief8514 It's difficult to describe, it's mostly the interaction with the little girl ghost that's different, the sounds and lighting or lack thereof, and the program of course. I'm pretty sure that there are videos featuring the 3 different versions, maybe even side by side. Though, the 3 versions back to back may be more interesting than a side-by-side given it's pretty dark and noisy. One of the 3 is creepier than the 2 other versions, but it seems that not everyone agrees on which one is it. There's one where the voice says something along the lines of "shhh, the more you scream, the worse it gets". One of the 3 versions has a lot more focus on the girl's ghost if I recall correctly. It's in French and English.
Thank you for reminding me of the good sides of the park! Yes, your are right: The park also has it's nice places! Just be happy about what it offers, and do not compare it to the other parks, then you can enjoy it! I really love your optimistic, positive way of showing and enjoying things! This made my day and cleared up my mood! I live near Disneyland Paris, so it is my local Disney Park, but I prefer going to Japan, China or USA. The reasons why got more and more frustrated about DLP are: First of all, the cast members make the magic, and the Asian people as well as the Americans to know how to do that, because the do know the term "customer service" in general! In Europe, going to a restaurant can be an unpleasant experience because of unfriendly waiters. It's getting better, but still not the same enjoyment, than in USA or Asia. Back to DLP: On the one hand, the French are a bit anti-foreign, and on the other hand the salary is much higher, so it's difficult to get nice and friendly staff. Further more, DLP does not have modern rides. The newest/most modern is Ratatouille, 10 years old, based on a ride, which is 24 years old (Tokyo Disneyland Winnie Pooh opened 09/20 and was the first Disney trackless ride). The Marvel-latest ride is Spiderman Webslingers, based on a cheap Arcade-Style Ride System from Triotech Canada, which Legoland already used for a Ninjago ride in 2016. Compared to other parks with "Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure", Guardians Coaster, Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pans Neverland Adventure, Rise of the Resistance and so on, DLP is completely outdated! And what do we get next? The Epcot-Version of Frozen, opened in 2016. If you have seen the Version in Tokyo, and you realize, what the ride could have been, but the build a nearly 10 years old version (at least when it opens), you are frustrated! Thirdly, the food is common and overprized. Yes, it's overprized in USA, too, but the variety, the exclusivity, and the quality are way better! Have you ever compared a Cookie from WDW and DLP? It's not even in the same RANGE! It's like cheap Wallmart cookies vs. delux-bakery goods! In Asian parcs, additionally the prizes are even fine! But to end it in a positive way: Again thank you for pointing out the good sides, like the nice themed Remy-Restaurant! Thanks to you, I will enjoy DLP again and try to not compare it to the other parcs when visiting!

I don't think any other Disney Park has been through so many changes since it's opening. From memory it only had 3 rides; flying carpets, rock n rollercoaster and the studio tram tour. The rest was shows and experiences. So having been going since opening, I personally love the studios now it's has 10 rides and still offers amazing shows and experiences.
Alice and The Queen Hearts looks friggin awesone: its like X-games meets Frank Wildhorn's Wonderland: Alice Through a Whole New Looking Glass and ALW's Starlight Express.
Was at WDS back in 2012 and thought it was a cute park…and that was pre-Rat. The Alice show is an interesting reuse of the Lights amphitheater. Overall the show doesn’t venture too far from the former Tarzan Rocks show formula. Live music, dancing and some stunts are always a solid combo. Also RnR Paris never had the cutouts that are in Florida. It was just concert lighting and smoke effects which was actually pretty cool.
its funny cuz ive been to hollywood studios last week and it has the same amount of rides😂 every wdw park has INSANELY FEW RIDES (A HANDFUL) except Magic Kingdom
I see what you mean by comparing that Wonderland show to Descendants, but it also really reminds me of an older show called Adventures in Wonderland. White Rabbit was on roller skates constantly. The Tweedles danced and rapped.
Why they didn’t do an avengers stunt show instead of Alice in wonderland I will never understand.. it doesn’t fit at all. Something like waterworld at universal studios but marvel themed would have been so much better imo
from a action show to a musical.. im so sad to see this. i loved the action thriller show there and this is maybe fun for little kids at most but they killed it for the adults, theres no fun to this show or excitement, seen once, and then never again i would personaly say, what a waste of money.
To go when the park is being totally refurbished and gets a huge make over and then complains about the construction side is beyond stupid. Btw, except one ride all the rides in the park are open …
Lots of theme parks in Europe had international ambitions when they started (so when you visit a park not related too a name like Disney English might be an after thought) Sadly Disney Europe/Paris seems to have a problem not to be as entertaining to non-French speakers, ok, they started to mix French and English now but you still missing half of it I recommend you visit places like Europa Park, Phantasialand, Efteling, Toverland and few others too They are some of the best parks you can find over here, all of the mentioned parks at least have an app for your Android/iOS device and those should be available in English... Apps should show waiting times, virtual queues (if available), food locations - possibility to reserve and/or order (if applicable), ride names and descriptions etc -not sure but I believe it also is your hotel-/house- key and park ticket when linked to your account and purchased/booked online -Note: in Eftelings Fairytale forest each fairytale scene should have a 'book' near it with a short description and name of the depicted scene in 4 different languages (NL/DE/FR/EN)
Ratatouille was in 3D but they recently changed it to 2D. Probably to do some savings 😢 FYI, the strange sausage on fries you ask what it was, is called a “fricadelle”. It is typical Belgium/Nederland fast food and it always goes with fries or within a “Mitraillette”: a French baguette 🥖open in half served with the fricadelle and fries. And it comes with lots of sauce. That is a meal is loaded of carbs and fat 😂
OMG thank YOU, SO MUCH for having to experience this and allowing me NOT TO GO - how much was the tickets to this mess? - whatever it was is clearly too much - maybe 5 euros for the tower ride?
I don't think anything can save the park the only good rides currently is ratatouille and Tower of terror avengers campus looks like a industrial district the toy story land is mediocre and they isn't much outside of that my advice just do the main park instead
6:40 HAHA that's hilarious! It's famous Dutch food called a Frikandel, it's a snack we always eat with fries. It's basically a meat stick? But it's so good! You should try it next time haha :))
You must remember that European weather is terrible compared to the near perfect conditions in Florida and California... building takes longer...plants wither and die...the UK Universal Studios will be a pale shadow of the USA...the weather is key
Oh yeah 100% the weather over here in Europe is terrible, especially for us here in Ireland, I think us and Scotland probably have the worst 😂 Going over to Orlando it's just like another world with how nice it is.
RBF if they do it like the Universal in Shanghai where a lot of it is covered and the rides are inside then it would be too much of an issue for running year round at least, but the weather always ruins everything here in the UK tbf
Went there for the first time a few months ago. I honestly loved it! It might not be perfect and has it’s flaws, but it’s definitely not as bad as people make it out to be! 😁 Also, (never thought I’d ever say this) I’m so glad I’ve been diagnosed with autism. Because I’m (actually only slightly) autistic I was able to get a “disability Priority Pass” meaning that I never had to wait any longer than 10 minutes to get in any and every ride I wanted despite most of the queue waiting times being over an hour long!
Poor horticulture people, it's not their fault people sit by that fountain every day with backpacks crushing the flowers. Ratatouille used to be 3D here too, but every once in a while it runs in 2D for refurbs, and they ran it longer as a test and apparently guest feedback was positive enough to keep it this way. At least for now! ALSO YES THE TURNSTILES. One of the few upsides to using a wheelchair these days is that I rarely have to squeeze through anymore hahah! I am so glad to hear you had a wonderful meal at Bistrot Chez Rémy! Most people online only complain about how terrible it was, putting others off, while it was genuinely one of the best meals I've had on property, and I can't wait to go back in September! But yeah, welcome to Paris, where table service meals tend to take 2 hours :D The Super Diner is actually the oldest restaurant in any park! It was originally a diner in the 30s, and eventually found its way to Disneyland Paris, who put it in their WDS park right from opening. The Super Diner overhaul caused a lot of uproar because of that! If it helps, the Lights, Motors, Action show has been closed since 2020 and has never returned. Ohnoooo you didn't get to see the Queen's awesome chariot!! Hopefully one day you'll get to see the Pixar Together show, it's brilliant! I am SO glad to see someone, especially an USian, not hate on WDS, though!! So thankyou
A look at Google Maps shows that the French have built up most of the space around the park with hotels and shopping centers. The park will never be able to compete with the other Disney parks. The French have done a really bad job. It's so sad that we will never have a great Disney park in Europe.
It actually has a bit of space next to Walt Disney Studios, if you check on Google Maps, there’s a huge empty site. I agree they didn’t let enough spaces
70 min wait for crush is good haha. It was like 130 min when i was there. The spin on it is actually fine. I have bad motion sickness and didnt have issues with it.
The attractions are good but I do think the downside is that is really small and it isn't great. I will admit that the main park is better, but I am glad they are expanding the park and adding the World of Frozen and adding some more attractions so it may improve.
I agree about Catastrophe Canyon. Its what we miss in WDW. Rides that are not just screens and sterile. Look what replaced The Great Movie ride. On other subject love your sense of humor!❤😂
The flight force is totally amazing! I was so impressed with the immersive experience I got! Totally individual, I understand , but we did it first and came back later to do it again as it was so exciting to experience the flying in the space feeling 🥰🥳 (but also, I would never spend time of those shows..). To all its own 🤗
I liked my visits to WDS. That written, thank you for being honest about this park. PS: you were lucky with your waiting times. I experienced this park with all lines twice as long (or more).
6:40 that's a frikandel! it's a popular Dutch snack, so I assume they just put it with the belgian waffles since the northern part of the country also speaks Dutch.
If you think that the retheme of Rock n Roller Coaster was really bad... Then don't do Hyperspace Montain, the retheme of Space Mountain with Star Wars, it's just... horrible x)
the wait times you showed weren't that bad tbh!! and im so sad the backlot studio tour got changed to cars. ever since i went there as a kid it was my favourite ride and now it kinda sucks except for the exploding part. i hope world of frozen will add some more atmosphere to the park
My mum just lurved the flowers. They did a good job on that. Overall, this parc is a mess, a real mess, and Disney know it. They have a lot of shows and the Pixar show was very good. They had a Frozen singalong, but it was in French, which I thought was odd considering the songs are English (not much to sing a lot to). Wouldnt it be better to alternate between English original and French adapted? We did the Disney Dream Factory, but again, half of it was in French, so we were not sure what was going on. My 2 year old was not enjoying the shows so we didn't do the Mickey Magician show. We went two weeks ago (14th/15th July) and most of the rides were only a five minute wait, which was great, but most of the rides were lame. It needs more than just a Frozen land to improve this parc.
Remy’s at Epcot “does” have a single rider line queue, that I am assuming is ready when it’s finally available? It’s to the left of the Lightning Lane! You can spot the area for the 3D glasses and exit of the line before you board!
It's small with little atractions but I do like it. Right now however it is probably at it's worst with all of the refurbishments. Can't wait until Arendelle opens.
For everyone going to this park. Be advised that not everything opens when the park opens, and the park closes early. Just take this park as something different. Not all parks are like the ones in America. Go to this park with an open mind. You will have fun. Again. It is not in America.
Psyched for your opinion. Having been there just before you I think. I skipped Alice…and based on your video it wasn’t for me. I did do the Pixar show twice. I felt the same about Mickey and the Magician having been on the wonder last year. Flight force was better when it was Aerosmith coaster, it is way jerkier now. I LOVED their tower of terror. Having only ridden the Disneyland CA one before. RC coaster is sooo good. Ratatouille so good. Web slingers is ok. The cars road trip is nice. I road it before it changed as well and it’s cut down journey to make way for the new areas. Hopefully the new areas will improve the park cohesion (it was better before all the walls went up) Will definitely be back when they finish the new sections in a few years.
Went to DLP for the first time about a month ago after going to WDW for the last 35 years and the studios is awful, but I did say I wouldn't judge it currently as there is so much building work going on but from friends and people I know that had been before they said it has never been too good hehe
It will be a much better park after the changes and the addition of world of Frozen
100%! We’re excited to return when everything opens and the park has its new name! Overall we still really enjoyed ourselves despite all the construction!
would be a lot cooler if we had something original instead of mediocre and smaller copies of other parks.

"just called ratatouille not remy's ratatouille adventure, why does everything have to be an adventure?" *is literally currently filming the sign that says "aventure" as the subtitle*

I’m not an amusement park person but your enjoyment is contagious. I almost started to plan a trip. Almost! But you are a treasure, keep loving life!🎉
No Remy’s in Epcot doesn’t have a single riders line. I wish Epoct’s wasn’t in 3D.
It is better not being 3d for sure. Plus the exit is awesome with it being near the restaurant
The Paris version used to be 3D for almost 10 years.. since a month or 2 they turned it off. Not sure why, but I believe It's part of a test in which they look what the guest does prefer (2D/3D). But I guess we'll see :))
@@ofteweljulia Having done it in both 3d and non-3d, I definitely prefer non-3d
Well, after watching the video, it is pretty interesting. Ironman apoke a different language while the lady on the monitor spoke English. I liked the part when the flames and the water came down.
A different language? It's Disneyland Paris, English is the different language there lol
Ratatouille isn't just called Ratatouille there either, the second part is underneath in french
Yep there’s a reason so many British people travel all the way to Disneyworld Orlando
@@DasTamiiThats because Disney doesnt really care about Disneyland paris
Maybe they stopped showing Ratatouille in 3D was because small children would cry because they got scared and that rarely happens in 2D?
I like the version where the little girl appears and disappears and each time is closer to the ride vehicle. So much fun!
Do you know what the differences are between the three? I’m very curious to know!
It's in French and English.
your immersive filming is so pleasingggggggg
Backlot tour takes me back to my childhood at MGM. Also i love the details at the remy restaurants, so cute!
The Wonderland show gives me low budget, cheesy Cirque feels.
When EuroDisney owned the park from opening in 1992 there was a clause in the contract for the land purchase saying that a Universal Studios style park had to be built within 10 years of opening. EuroDisney couldn't afford it due to low profit but had to make something. It bankrupt them doing it but that's the reason it's always been the poor relation to the main park.
I was at Disneyland Paris on May & we did all the rides in both parks in One day using the Premier pass ultimate it was worth it.
We considered that but we really wanted to take our time and enjoy things but we love that it’s an option!
how much was this pass?
I don't think any other Disney Park has been through so many changes since it's opening. From memory it only had 3 rides; flying carpets, rock n rollercoaster and the studio tram tour. The rest was shows and experiences. So having been going since opening, I personally love the studios now it's has 10 rides and still offers amazing shows and experiences.
Alice and The Queen Hearts looks friggin awesone: its like X-games meets Frank Wildhorn's Wonderland: Alice Through a Whole New Looking Glass and ALW's Starlight Express.
definitely an entertaining show
Was at WDS back in 2012 and thought it was a cute park…and that was pre-Rat.
“I have a feeling I’m going to watch something really weird” - Me any time I see anything French, both Quebec and France French.
Me a French-canadian seing dumb Americans making stupid comments.
I see what you mean by comparing that Wonderland show to Descendants, but it also really reminds me of an older show called Adventures in Wonderland. White Rabbit was on roller skates constantly. The Tweedles danced and rapped.
Since Crush Coaster opened there was never a wait under 30/40 min
Awesome video Adrian!!! Thank you for sharing!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Haven’t seen you around for a while Kimberly! We missed you!
@@ThemeParkExpress 🥰🥰🥰
Why they didn’t do an avengers stunt show instead of Alice in wonderland I will never understand.. it doesn’t fit at all. Something like waterworld at universal studios but marvel themed would have been so much better imo
It’s been renovated so I think this is not the best time to visit as some of it has been shut
? He literally mentioned n showed this multiple times
@@hollybabyyy yeh I’m just surprised he went when it’s half shut and then says in the title it’s the worst not a fair comparison
@@mychristmasemporium5927 it was already considered the worst.
normaly the main entry building is so dope, Food shops , feels like being in hollywood. so sad it was closed off for you :(
I am from Paris and seriously, this is the worst park ever and the waiting time is crazy! I won't be going back, too small for the price paid!
from a action show to a musical.. im so sad to see this. i loved the action thriller show there and this is maybe fun for little kids at most but they killed it for the adults, theres no fun to this show or excitement, seen once, and then never again i would personaly say, what a waste of money.
for Mickey and the magicien, only the flash are prohibited...
To go when the park is being totally refurbished and gets a huge make over and then complains about the construction side is beyond stupid. Btw, except one ride all the rides in the park are open …
Lots of theme parks in Europe had international ambitions when they started (so when you visit a park not related too a name like Disney English might be an after thought) Sadly Disney Europe/Paris seems to have a problem not to be as entertaining to non-French speakers, ok, they started to mix French and English now but you still missing half of it
I recommend you visit places like Europa Park, Phantasialand, Efteling, Toverland and few others too
They are some of the best parks you can find over here, all of the mentioned parks at least have an app for your Android/iOS device and those should be available in English...
Apps should show waiting times, virtual queues (if available), food locations - possibility to reserve and/or order (if applicable), ride names and descriptions etc -not sure but I believe it also is your hotel-/house- key and park ticket when linked to your account and purchased/booked online
-Note: in Eftelings Fairytale forest each fairytale scene should have a 'book' near it with a short description and name of the depicted scene in 4 different languages (NL/DE/FR/EN)
the cars ride is so bad i want the old ride back that was a good ride.
Ratatouille was in 3D but they recently changed it to 2D. Probably to do some savings 😢
FYI, the strange sausage on fries you ask what it was, is called a “fricadelle”. It is typical Belgium/Nederland fast food and it always goes with fries or within a “Mitraillette”: a French baguette 🥖open in half served with the fricadelle and fries. And it comes with lots of sauce. That is a meal is loaded of carbs and fat 😂
It’s really weird to see ratatouille in 2D. It’s supposed to be 3D, but if the sanitising machines are broken, they change it to 2D
No more 3D in Paris for Ratatouille.
They changed it permanently to 2D, because guest feedback showed that the experience is better in 2D.
@@SteveVdw Also notice it is hardly ever down now the 3D has gone compared to the EPCOT version which seems to go down multiple times a day
OMG thank YOU, SO MUCH for having to experience this and allowing me NOT TO GO - how much was the tickets to this mess? - whatever it was is clearly too much - maybe 5 euros for the tower ride?
I don't think anything can save the park the only good rides currently is ratatouille and Tower of terror avengers campus looks like a industrial district the toy story land is mediocre and they isn't much outside of that my advice just do the main park instead
so glad u also felt the retheme was awful 😂 im so sad i missed out on Rock n Rollercoaster ☹️ im told it was far superior which isnt hard to believe
That is a frikadel , a dutch snack , we eat it with curri , mayonaise and chopped onions. Actually raeally good, but no so healthy though
Oh yeah 100% the weather over here in Europe is terrible, especially for us here in Ireland, I think us and Scotland probably have the worst 😂
Going over to Orlando it's just like another world with how nice it is.
I don’t know, I think Sweden beats you in bad weather, hahaha.
RBF if they do it like the Universal in Shanghai where a lot of it is covered and the rides are inside then it would be too much of an issue for running year round at least, but the weather always ruins everything here in the UK tbf
Last time I went to DisneyLand Paris was back in 1997 when it was only the main park. Going again next year.
Went there for the first time a few months ago. I honestly loved it! It might not be perfect and has it’s flaws, but it’s definitely not as bad as people make it out to be! 😁
Also, (never thought I’d ever say this) I’m so glad I’ve been diagnosed with autism.
But yeah, welcome to Paris, where table service meals tend to take 2 hours :D
The Super Diner is actually the oldest restaurant in any park!
I rope dropped Crush because I realized the wait was so outrageous. I was told this was the park's "it" ride.
crush can’t handle the queues the throughput is too slow. Defiantly a rope drop ride.
My stepson has a disability so we rode it 3x in 10 mins lol
To all its own 🤗
34:47 I don’t know if I’d say Descendants, as Descendants has a more… rock… feel. Maybe more of a Ever After High meets Dumbo’s Circus look?
I liked my visits to WDS. That written, thank you for being honest about this park.
PS: you were lucky with your waiting times. I experienced this park with all lines twice as long (or more).
6:40 that's a frikandel! it's a popular Dutch snack, so I assume they just put it with the belgian waffles since the northern part of the country also speaks Dutch.
If you think that the retheme of Rock n Roller Coaster was really bad... Then don't do Hyperspace Montain, the retheme of Space Mountain with Star Wars, it's just... horrible x)
And the park is currently and major renovation to ‘fix it’s and rebrand it to *Advebture World*
the wait times you showed weren't that bad tbh!! and im so sad the backlot studio tour got changed to cars. ever since i went there as a kid it was my favourite ride and now it kinda sucks except for the exploding part. i hope world of frozen will add some more atmosphere to the park
It will almost double in size soon 🎉
Currently watching and at the part where you did the avengers rollercoaster, I have to say visiting DCA, I thought Incredicoaster was very lazy 😂
This park is great if you have small kids! We saw the Frozen show, Disney junior and Pixar together. We loved it! The rides are great!
I enjoyed my day with you. Thank you for sharing this.
I went once, people push in line.
What!!?? No Efteling? Not going to the original disney park that inspired Walt to build his version?
Thank god they'll add frozen and most likely lion king as well
yay
You never had fries with a curryworst before? Must be the Belgian booth.
´Why don’t we simply call it Ratatouille like in Paris.’
Meanwhile the Parisians: Ratatouille L’Aventure Totalement Toqué de Rémy
The bmx show is an insuly as a replacement for Lights motor action
The theming is great at Ratatouille restaurant…so much better than Epcot.
Remy’s at Epcot “does” have a single rider line queue, that I am assuming is ready when it’s finally available? It’s to the left of the Lightning Lane! You can spot the area for the 3D glasses and exit of the line before you board!
Ah okay thanks for letting me know!
I literally don’t remember much about it, besides it was super small and disappointing.
Concept art. 😂😂
We know how accurate concept art is.
It's small with little atractions but I do like it. Right now however it is probably at it's worst with all of the refurbishments. Can't wait until Arendelle opens.
Even the worst Disney park is still better than most others ❤ Although maybe not while it's in it's refurb period
For everyone going to this park. Be advised that not everything opens when the park opens, and the park closes early.
Just take this park as something different. Not all parks are like the ones in America.
Go to this park with an open mind. You will have fun. Again. It is not in America.
I know remys in epcot did not have a single rider line when I was there in Nov
Thanks for letting me know!
Last time i visited was when Tower of Terror was being built. Still had fun :P
Would kill for those wait times. Lol. Just returned from WDW. Anything under 45 was GOLD
they went from LIGHTS MOTOR ACTION to that odd show WONDERLAND?!?🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️😞😞😞😞
32:04 no, previously this restaurant was "le café des cascadeurs"
(stuntman's cafe)
I just got home from Disney Paris. And I just have to say I did not feel I got to wait to much in line in Disney Studios. I might been lucky 😊
Went to DLP for the first time about a month ago after going to WDW for the last 35 years and the studios is awful, but I did say I wouldn't judge it currently as there is so much building work going on but from friends and people I know that had been before they said it has never been too good hehe
