Yeah, for the longest time I heard "I AM A MAGGOT, I AM SUB-HUMAN"
I only stopped hearing it when I actually read the lyrics while listening to the song.
Dante's theme is underrated
I’m not a huge fan of songs with constant screaming, but this song is an exception. I love this song so much
DMC5 OST is overrated. Most of the songs are way too heavy in the base and mid, it just sounds very repetitive. Except for the DLC, of course.

A lot of people at the time acted like Subhuman didn't fit Dante as a character because they were so hung-up over his goofy laid-back persona, or missed the more gothic theme orchestral and vocals like from "Devils Never Cry"... But one thing you've gotta realize is that by this point in the franchise, Dante's killed two "Kings of hell" by this point and is aiming for a third, he's so far above the demons that he's fighting that he almost feels obligated to goof off just to drag the fights out for his own entertainment, they wanted to make a song that correlates with that feeling, and when that SSS chorus hits right as you pop into Sin Devil Trigger after making the monsters around you look like a bunch of clowns... THAT'S the Dante experience in my mind.
That's true and also Dante's arc in DMCV is accepting his demonic side just how Vergil's is accepting his humanity so this song fits that concept perfectly.

@@GaeaRage0798 No, in DMC 3 Dante still really hates his demon side, because of this demon things his childhood ruined, because of this he also lost his parents. And because of this, Vergil becomes his enemy, and throughout the cut scene he almost never uses his devil form.He uses it because he has to in certain situations, in the game when our hp is low. That's why DMC 3's theme music is a combination of harmony and rock metal. The combination of his human side and his demon side trying to take over each other, overlapping each other
If im honest, this do feel like a vibe for dante. Might be laid back and chill, but holy shut he whips ass, and whips ass hard.
Honestly this song is probably how it feels to face him as a demon.
I imagine Dante is canonically fighting as if he was perfect at DMC5.

The song feels like Dante is alway using Royale guard style. The ultimate defense while walking slow by attacking faster than sound.

Love Subhuman! As a previous big metalhead (still am, just not as much as before) the vocals are great. Alongside the main screams are a specific type of screamo called a low growl. The link you gave helps people learn, but that's for fry screams. The low growl uses a different technique best described by obkatiekat. To do it, you basically sigh really hard to the point of the "break", and from there you change the sound by moving your mouth around.
There’s a song from pizza tower called “Impasta Syndrome” idk if you’re going back to that game but there’s an update

You should consider reacting to the inFAMOUS series soundtracks! (1, 2 and Second Son)
They all have their own genre depending on the games setting. First game is gritty makeshift instruments, second game is dark jazz and the other is rock
you should definitely listen to "Fire Inside." It's a new song for DMC mobile game and it's made by Casey Edwards (ft. Victor Borba), the same people who made and sang Bury The Light.

Hey! First of all i love your reactions :D Only seen a few videos so far but i already know that i would LOVE to see your reaction to some music from one of my favorite games, Warframe! A few recommendations i would have are: We all lift together, Sleeping in the cold below, For narmer, March of the Moa, Your creator, This is what you are... and the list could go on! I think it has some very amazing sound tracks, cutscene songs and ambiance.

I would heavily recommend the Binding of Isaac soundtrack, specifically burning basement, downpour, and dark room, to start.
As well as cult of the lamb ost, start a cult anchor deep and silk cradle are excellent starts.

You should do a quick review of the CD version of Subhuman. It doesn't have the crazy guutar riff sequences of the in-game version, but it's much better structured and mixed
Please check out the soundtrack of Chivalry 2, specifically the track "Duty and Honor II". Think you'll really like it.

if ur thinking of listening to show osts, i think hajime no ippo would be a good suggestion hehe. it has some really good music that repeats throughout the show whenever something happy or sad happens, its really orchestral (idk if thats the word for it) and i think based on the tf2 music videos youre really into those songs.
a good start would be motherhood, twitter, jungle. these are the most calm music types, but there are alot more songs that are really intense.
You should listen to Never Surrender by Combichrist. Same franchise and still very heavy

Hey I’m a new sub. Absolutely love you channel ideas. Just out of curiosity have you done any assassins creed game music? In my opinion they have some of the best soundtracks ever.
I really recommend the Infamous 2 soundtrack. "And I Thought I Was A Pyro" is very good. Also, I'd love to hear your thoughts on God of War Ragnarok's "Blood Upon The Snow" and "Raeb's Lament".

You should check Lost Ark music, there are some good soundtracks like "Astalgia of Phantasm" or "Kadan's Theme"
If you want another Video Game ost, one I can recommend is the ost from The game called; "Metal: Hellsinger" it's a Rhythm game with some kick @ss Music. It is on the more rock/heavy side, but a fun fact about the game is most of the Soundtrack features members from many different bands either singing or involved with each of the songs.
((A personal highlight from me is the Song "No tomorrow" which featured Serj Tankian, from the band System of a Down))

You should really check out the soundtrack to Warhammer 40k Darktide. It's composed by Jesper Kyd and it features The Hungarian Scoring Choir with synth heavy overtones, It's powerful sounding music. The entire album (a three CD spread) sounds good but my three favorite are 'Immortal Imperium, The Transit Horde (this one is fun), and Darktide Main Theme'. I think you would really enjoy them.

Im new to the channel and I absolutely love your reaction videos and your input on them very informational! You should definitely listen to Red Dead Redemption 2's score such as Outlaws From the West, Everybody Wake Up, Blood Feuds Ancient and Modern, American Venom they give such an intense emotions and atmosphere. Its one of my personal favorite games and in my opinion a masterpiece.

Dude you gotta listen to the sonic unleashed ost. The night time and day time themes are amazing and beautiful. The best one in my opinion that you'll love is jungle joyride night, that's the best one you'll probably love

Even if you don't do a video on it, I'd love to recommend the Mo Astray final boss theme compilation.
It's one of those "Under the Radar" kind of games that's extremely beautiful and really well made. I'd just love to see it some more attention since it has some truly amazing music. Recommend the compilation by 212madfool since they compile the theme really well.

You should react to the oddworld abe exoddus's and odyssey's soundtracks. Really minimalistic and ambient l, sometimes creepy and very industrial as well as full oh i really mean it FULL of atmosphere. Woman of the Name Ellen Meijers crafted the best OST of all time in my opinion. But the best way to experience the soundtrack and see how it works is to play or watch some playthrough of the game which really show how carefully it was used in the game and how well put together it is.
Tge greatest song to ever come from DMC is Shall Never Surrender. In my humble opinion

If you like the singer, He does a metalcore band called "Volumes". Metalcore genre is basically comining heavy metal and pop into a genre, I highly reccomend Bring me the horizon. They have done collabs with multiple of artists such as Yungblud, Lil Uzi vert, Corpse, Ed Sheeran, MGK, and Sigrid. They have also been in multiple of video games like Forza Horizon 5, and Grand Turmismo
Interestingly, band that originally performed this song was Suicide Silence, but Capcom decided to change vocalists and intrumentals after SS vocalist received allegations of writing some sexualised stuff to a teen or something.
