I’m excited about this one b/c it isn’t your typical mom car - obviously. AND I’ve a long time Toyota fan. BUT that being said - there’s something you need to know, so watch this video to learn a few things...

BMW stuff:
If you’re watching this you’re probably a supra fan - so you already know a lot of this car is a BMW. Under the hood we have BMW parts and all that.. we even have some BMW stuff inside.
ENGINE STUFF:
So let’s talk about that engine - this car is the 3.0 Premium
This has a 3L twin turbo inline 6 8 speed automatic WITH paddle shifters BUT before you turn me off - you CAN get it in a 6 speed manual transmission!!!
It makes 382 hp / and generates 368 lb torque.
This does share a platform with the BMW Z4 - so it has the same engine and the same powertrain but they’re very diff.. one is a convertible the Z4 and the Supra is a sport coupe.
You can also get a GR Supra in a 2L twin turbo as well.
PAINT AND EXTERIOR:
It’s stratosphere blue and it may be my all time favorite paint color so far. I’m a big fan of blue but don’t always love it on cars.. this particular hue with all the metallic - looks so good.
WHEELS AND TIRES
We have 19 inch forged aluminum gunmetal wheels with Michelin pilot super sport tires.
And Brembo brakes in the front!
MPG - up to 23 city and 31 highway for 26 on average
BMW shifter with carbon fiber around it.

It ain’t a twin turbo, it’s a single turbo that is twin-scrolled (which is actually better overall).

Not necessarily better. Twin scrolls reduce psi output compared to the same size turbo. Twin scroll turbo’s advantage is quicker spool due to the angle of the blade at lower rpm.

I just found this channel. I really like the reviewer, she gave me a ton of in depth information detailed information without being as detailed as say car and driver which gets a little to technical. This mom should stick to minivans and SUV reviews. She says she was impressed by the transmission, however, the paddle shifting can feel a bit “clunky”. I doubt she even drove it. “But don’t quote me on that” in her voice. 😂😂
