My gandmother had 2 Mazdas (CX-7 and CX-5) so did her brother (My great uncle who also had an RX-7 a loooong time ago) and they held up pretty well! My mother had a Subaru Legacy Wagon which broke down a lot! Which makes me skeptical about Subaru And then they saw a Subaru Ascent with a problem! But Subaru is known for safety and reliability! Mazda has high safety and reliability ratings as well! Mazda is more my style! So I would personally choose the CX-50 over the Outback! But I would take anything if it was given to me!

driver back cup holder cause your grabbing the cup with your right an you rest your arm on the center console the passanger would more likely be right handed also so they would be reaching across thr front of them selves you reaching forward a little dosnt get in the way of the driver grabbing the rear cup

I used to work for Ford at the Kentucky Truck Plant back in the day. Knowing that these Explorers are built in Chicago, always means that quality and fit and finish are poor because Chicago plant was always the worst performing plant for Ford.

I felt the 3.5L engines were great, but downsizing to 3L makes me wonder if the new ones are worth it. Definitely more of lease vehicle than a financed one. What are your thoughts?

Thank you for this awesome review! I am in hell waiting for the Ioniq9 to drop🙄. I originally had the Pallisade Calligraphy as well, then the gas became out of control for us. So because Dr. Hubs has a Tesla & it was cost effective for our home’s transportation budget, I went with the Ioniq 5 in the interim because the Ioniq 9 was SUPPOSED to have come out last year…a lifetime later, I’m still waiting & going from the Pallisade (of which I absolutely LOVED😩) to the Ioniq 5 has been a tough ride for me & the kiddos. I believe if adjustable, one is supposed to slide the second row seats a bit forward as the second row leg room is already surplus. Then you should have reasonable leg room for the third row seats.
