- Drosera Spatulata update 25 days since my plant has arrived in the mail. Shipped to Southern California. Quick time lapse feeding with freeze dried blood worms and fruit flies.

I finally have gotten mine to bloom. Hopefully I can get some seeds from it as well!
That’s good! Make sure to pollinate it.
Edit: I heard it’s self pollinating. I planted some seeds but didn’t see any progress. I had more success in dividing the plant when I needed to repot it. I divided it to 10 small plants.
I got mine yesterday. It was a little squished and doesn't have any dew, leaves are dry. How long before it starts making the little dew drops?
Should be in a few days if in the right conditions look out for the new growth. My drosera Lanata x ordensis took about a month or little more, but turned out great.
My friend is soon gonna get a spatulata of his own,I was wondering how i could differentiate between spatulata and tokaniensis since I've read its a hybrid and often mistaken for spatulata.
Spatulata grows almost like a weed because it begins to spread. I have a Short showing how I divided it and I repotted it into different pots. I had Tokaiensis and it has only grown in size but will get small again during dormancy period. I have a video in the form of a winter bud. (In a macrantha unboxing video). Also, Spatulata flowers constantly while Tokaiensis tends to have about one at a time.
