I have a drosera spatulata that just recently started growing a lot more rapid. I’m guessing it’s trying to come out of dormancy but it has this odd fluffy black substance around the base of the plant. It doesn’t seem to be hurting it but it is very unsightly. Any clue what it could be?

Sounds like humic acid build up, gently top water daily until it goes away. Drosera Spatulata does not have a dormancy period.
