I was just gonna see what it was about then watch it later because it’s 1 hr, ended watching all of it. This coach is 🔥
He is top class
He's absolutely amazing. I think I've watched this session like three times already

This masterclasses are really priceless for young, aspiring coaches. Great job
Thank you very much!
22-23 years ago when Frans was still at Ajax, he came to the US in the summers to conduct 3-day coaching seminars. I went to four of them. He would often bring with him Ajax staff coaches from Ajax youth teams. His style back then was the same as you see in this video. Subsequent to those seminars, I sought out KNVB coaching courses. In total, I accumulated about 125 hours of Dutch coaching education. All of it so good, I pretty much gave up on USSF courses.
Yes bro! USSF is completely broken there courses and licenses dont mean anything
Mind sharing were you acquired them ?
Ajax Academy are one of the best in the world. Johan Cruyff is one of those big examples and just look what he did at Barca.
USSF courses aren't worth spit. They're horrible, still don't teach anything. I wish we had anyone of this caliber teaching coaches in the US.
I d like to know as well. Did you do them in holland or was there a way to do them online@@MegaPhakamani
Brilliant you could see how he was making the players think about their decisions rather than give them the answers linking both tactical and technical aspects of the game top coach.
guided discovery, its a great way to develop players through their own independence
love this session. quality comes from the small details (body position, hand gestures , weight of pass). don't be afraid to demand quality from kids because they'll surprise you with how much they can actually do but also give them room for error as no one is perfect. so many lessons in this one video
if every coach was like this we’d have talent all over the world
Word

The US need coaches like him.
this is pure gold...
I'm a 24 year old coach and I can tell u this coach knows what he's talking about. My coaches I had over my 18 years from academy to semi professional/college career I had similar coaches like him and I was a very good player. I am starting my own academy team and I will be implementing alot of his techniques and drills he does. Awesome seminar
zdravo im cape town south africa this is my e-mail address giftmaqala@gmail.com send me a message i want to show you an idea that i have we have something in common
I continuously come back and watch this video. Such quality from Frans.
It’s all quite simple stuff, it’s how you explain it and demonstrate it to the players. At any level, there is usually a player who doesn’t understand a drill through just talking through it 👏🏼👏🏼
as a head coach i dont like to deviate from a game situation to not make it to complicated a lot of coaches complicate it to much
22:45 incredible man management!
Its actually very interesting and worth watching.......cant just wait to become a coach.... I am now reminded of the famous saying " If u want a life time Happiness, find Ur right job" . Thanks for this Awesome Video.
you should follow your dream, I just started a head coach. did u end up coaching?
How’s it getting on buddy, did you manage to become a coach?
@@89GuyCool Its still a dream for me..but I am close
@@sebinthomasbabu niceee, I’m very happy for you. Hopefully you make it past the last hurdle soon🙏🏽
World Class Coach, Thank You for this Video. I really appreciate it...🙏
When I was on the U-17 Cal North State team preparing for the 1st Adidas Snicker ODP final four tournament our coach Former Cal coach Mark Mallon had informed. us that we were participating in a coaching clinic and the coach was Frans Hoek. At that time he was working at Barcelona And instead of calling me a #6 he called me the guardiola, which was cool.
Fantastic. So simple yet intellectual as can be.
Question: "Are you coaching the players, or coaching the coaches?"
Hoek: "Yes"
I have never been coached my whole life this was clearly fun. Details
Watching this again and I am still impressed.
I feel bad for the kids tho. This is a tough place to be recieving brand new information.
Handshakes and huddles! Such a rare site in 2020
So sad! Hopefully better times to come soon.
An excellent coach, an example for anyone in football coaching for his absolute specifics, and his insistence on quality. He manages to exhort energy and encouragement throughout with a consistent demand to maintain high levels at all times.
A pity the Spurs players are so average: Hoek's requirements are too often beyond their abilities and intelligence.
I took a training course with him. A great teacher for coaches and players. This is why he is one of the best in the world.
A world class coach.agreed
I stopped off to watch for advice of how the coaching ladder works and was looking for some inspiration I ended up watching the whole video and got exactly the inspiration I was looking for this is brilliant definitely worth a watch.
Glad you enjoyed
@@CoachWG Is there a way we can talk on another platform and have a conversation? I would like some advice about getting on to the coaching ladder and how I can do all my badges I have done research but I am still unsure on a few things.
I am from India and working as a grassroots football coach. I liked the video very much. I liked the way he wants quality in every action. But I have problem when I want quality and perfection with the beginners.
Don’t strive perfection, it is unhealthy and doesn’t improve performance. Aim for quality and let them strive for a little bit above their current quality with the aim of high quality.
Surely, one of the best goalkeeping trainer's menthor
Excellent, a brilliant coach!
Yes fran 💙
Best goalkeeping coach alive today
agreed
I think I'll see a video better than this on RUclips. I would have loved to learn coaching from this man.
This is fantastic. Thanks coach.
THIS IS THE FOOTBALL FOR NEW GENERATION PLAYERS
too good and simple class
great video thanks
mufc1812 you're more than welcome
Just love it. I love the passion and connection he has with his job and the students. I'd love a job like that.
he's good, experience, and as a coach (a good coach) // as a goalkeeper coach (excellent), now how to make a goalkeeper better, and top level,...
Very good, a suggestion should be that the coach repeat the answers from the players or trainers, because when he asks a question, he can hear the answer , but we don't, so always repeat for the audience
That's great stuff.Only professionals know what it means
I love his coaching style
see how he builds up the intensity of a seemingly easy session. in the end they were not laughing
This coach is so good just wow
Agreed. Remarkable coach
This is brilliant!! 🙏🏻
I agree. a top level coach
the standards this guy has, intensity but always asking questions about what to do, not doubting their ability but building understanding
linking everything to the game, demanding high standards of your team-mates, i really liked what he said to that player about being better than his team-mate
A top end coach Andrew. I agree the level of detail is incredible. Thanks for interacting
"At Ajax 9 years old they can play two sides with two fingers in their nose" Let that sink in!
Impressive. Its all in the details
what a relaxing video and very informative
I must say this one is really good to check.
I agree. A must watch
@@CoachWG Thanks Coach Grant for sharing this must watch video. I just followed you on Twitter as a way to say thank you! :D

@coachWG this is a great video, Frans is a great coach and excellent coaches coach. Thanks for sharing.
I love your teaching
Thank you for uploading this video
Watching this vid shows me why technically us Brits are sooooo poor. Our coaching system is failing us. "I want quality". love it.

Thanks a lot
simple and updated, thanks for sharing
Great video. Thanks!
I wish my coach was this passionate
Have you considered getting into coaching?
@@CoachWG I have actually. Maybe one day when I’m settled in life I’ll coach a youth team in my area
Hey Frans, I say always start exercises such as this with the left foot. Pretty soon, problem solved!
Great video
Thanks for Sharing dude :)
a very good behaviour and talentd coach than my school coach.
Ok this is so good but I want to do this training
Frans Hoek - simply put, THE goalkeeping coach..... anyone else coaching has learned their trade from Frans........
omg I love this guy
For anyone who is confused. Frans Hoek is a goalkeeping coach and not a football manager. In the netherlands we dont take him seriouslu because he doesnt know his role and thinks he is the manager and not louis van gaal.
OKEY I LIKE YOUR METHOD
The coach is amazing! They are 17! Honestly they are not that good.. one hour training from this coach you could easily notice his touch! Wow!
Gerald Butler's older brother.
What channel would you advice an aspiring coach to follow, what should he know

Hollands new GK coach
Is it good to stop the training every second?
It is until they start doing things correctly. The only way to learn
fuck I learned so much. this is great.
Must be something in the air in Southern England they never get it
Anyone has similar quality sessions?
See barcelona and ajax are academies....they produce the best players and coaches

Welcome to Galatasaray.
If better call Saul was a gaffer…LITERALLY
That goalkeeper lad is dense
Am unable to understand what sir is making am to doing, show bird eye view kindly , even if couldn't like like it, but sir telling so will do, but without understanding what will do to here 😂✌
Sprus is a natural boll receiver, bad boll passer, anticipate on my part is viceversa, fix my boll to body syntax, sir and everything you feel could be a weakness for am always worried for my bad receiving offence, ground shots still managible, but aerial ones like never learned the do's and dont's for aerial receiving, sir, cause good receiving ability manifolds quality of team play making potential , and for being a scorer, kicking and receiving are agendas, this two builds football playing, quality means to be able to receive and kick, pass a boll to any length in range sir 😂✌
the beginning threw me off still watching ...
Thanks
Good video, but I ask: those guys could score a goal ? 😅😅😅.
yooo is anyone watching this is 2020?
Hope so. :)

welcome to Galatasaray
These lot acc can’t finish
Are these professional players from Spurs? The first touch of some of them is awful! Very poor technique. The coach has a tough job ahead.
Ive coached a lot of young people. I wouldn't talk about another player like he did Ronaldinho. Especially to young men. Judging Ronaldinho looks and desire for women and then his decisions later in life....and the ball can get you women....is that a good example? Ronaldinho is the greatest ever...i think he did alright and obviously put a lot of time with a ball. How many know Ronaldinho in the world compared to Frans Hoek? Maybe Frans should have made better choices
Seriously 😂
I think he was just trying make point that he coached him. But talking about his looks was bad and the players didn't even find it funny. Ronaldinho won everything possible. in my opinion in his prime he was unstoppable.
@@Unizuka jokes can send the wrong message too and especially when they come from a leader to youth that look up to the leader. I wouldn't do it and if my assistant did it and i was the head coach they would have me on them.
Relationships is something i mention in my top tips. Hes used Ronaldinho as a reference point to build relationships?? ruclips.net/video/0alFHX45pU4/видео.html)
fuck I learned so much. this is great.
