Please take into account that I have replaced Evolve 2 75 for a third time and I will not do it again. After about a month or so using fresh headphones the mic starts to break ( you need to move the mic up and down a few times to get it back to a working condition). Probably it seems it's a manufacturing flaw which can't be fixed. It's quiet annoying to hear from people that they do not hear you many times within a single conversation :/ Our company uses Jabra products and most of Evolve 2 75 models have the same mic problems. Second most popular product in our company is Jabra 65 , these are good and do not have such problems. I am now moving to Focus 2 and hope it will be a better experience.

Thank you so much for sharing this feedback, Krists! Do you know if the manufacturer has been contacted? In our experience, Jabra cares about the product they produce and want to be informed whenever there are issues so they can work to correct. Several of our team members use the Poly Voyager Focus 2 and are pleased with the comfort and performance. Please keep us posted.

The mic of Voyager Focus 2 is Awesome and we can directly compare and see VF2 is far more better in mic quality and Noise Cancellation technology.
And I need to see the range as well as VF2 has 50 mts and Jabra E2-75 has 30 mts
And can use the VF2 mic on both the sides, where compared to Jabra E2-75 is only on Right side.

Fully agree Danny, these should be the top 2 for 2021.
Mic perfoamance, poly mic is clearer esp in noisy environment. Though not by a wide margin vs Jabra.
However, I would still pick the Jabra evolve2 75, for the design. Mic can be tucked discreetly esp when outside.

Hey Danny! Thanks for another great video. I really like the blender test.
    Here are my thoughts:
Jabra Evolve2 75 has a USB-C connection whereas the Focus 2 still has a Micro-USB connection which I find surprising. Even the Voyager 43XX Series which was launched later has a USB-C connection.
I have been using the Focus 2 professionally for months now and the battery life is inferior to my old Evolve 75 (!).
The Focus 2 has no hearthrough option, the Evolve2 75 does.
The pouch of the Focus 2 feels cheap and nearly not as robust as the hardcase for the old Evolve 75 (I have not yet received my new Evolve2 75).
Poly’s BT 700 USB-C Dongle has no grip at all, you can barely remove it with one hand. Jabra’s Link 380 USB-C Dongle is designed a whole lot smarter and easier to unplug.
    Happy new year from Vienna!

Hey Mate, thanks for the video. So the blendertest right next to it was impressive with the Jabra2 75. What I would like to know is, how you experienced the noise while talking on the mic. Would you be able to clearly understand the voice on the other end. Because I noticed even tough the experience for the listener ist impressiv, but at the same time the level of noise that I my selfe would be exposed to is quite high, not imaginable having a blender running next to me. Thanks in advance!

H L, that is an excellent question! The OG Poly Voyager Focus is a solid performer and one of Poly's and ours top sellers. It checks all the boxes. Personally, the only downside to the Voyager Focus was the microphone. It's performs well, however, the new Voyager Focus 2 mic is much better as is the Evolve2 75. So it comes down to what you value most. You wouldn't be making a bad choice either way. Pre-covid when our team was working in a loud open office environment, the majority used a Poly Voyager Focus. Fast forward to today, and some are still using the Voyager Focus working from home, and others have upgraded to Voyager Focus 2 and new Evolve2 75. If it's a budget thing, you can contact an authorized Jabra and Poly reseller for pricing.

Hi faneeza jaleel, my setup may be different than yours and unless I hear recordings, it's challenging. No headset blocks 100% of noise, if you listen closely, you will hear faint background noises especially when I talk. I don’t do anything special. I charge any products that require it before connecting to my computer. If a corded USB device does not require charging, I connect directly.
I download any recommended or required software. I ensure the software and firmware of the devices and dongles are up to date.

    1. Were these tests performed with the ANC mode on? If so, on which level?
    2. Should I still hear the background noise when the ANC is on? I have the Voyager Focus 2 and I turned on my vacuum and I could still hear the noise even though I had the ANC at level 2.
    Thanks!

    • @CallOneInc
      @CallOneInc  11 месяцев назад +2

Hi Jose! Thanks for watching and your questions!
      1. In this video, I am testing the noise-canceling (NC) microphones, not the Active Noise Canceling (ANC) speakers. There is no setting for the microphones.
      2. Yes, ANC does not block 100% of background noise. With ANC on and audio/music streaming through the speakers, it tends to suppress even more noise.
No ANC headset I have tested, including the Sony WH-1000XM4, Bose 700, and Quiet Comfort 45, suppressed 100% of background noise. I was still able to hear people talking, however, not as loud. I find ANC tends to be great at blocking out ambient noise like the hum of an AC or Laptop running.

The Jabra Evolve2 75 Series are enterprise-grade headsets designed to be certified and compatible with business communications and collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc. The Sony WH-1000XM4 and Sennheiser Momentum Series are designed for audiophiles who have discerning audio tastes. Sorry, my question is related to how to configure the device? If it is through the PC or the smartphone or an app, to perform noise cancellation through the microphone during a call, if it is via software or hardware

    Jabra evolve 2 75
is a piece of crap. Terrible microphone that breaks up all the time and not comfortable at all. I had to go back to my old Jabra 2 65. $350 bucks thrown into the garbage.
