  • This is part 2 of a 4-part series of videos highlighting the beautiful, and rugged Gaspe region of the Province of Quebec, Canada. This video shows 2 days of our trip including Point-a-la-Croix to New Carlisle, and then to Perce.
In this series you'll see beautiful wilderness, rivers, mountains, and the associated issues like blown tires, blown belt, overheating, and getting lost - "It's all part of the adventure!" Watch a group of friends traverse through some of the most challenging and rewarding trails anywhere. We traveled over 1200 km (750 miles) in 7 days.
If you want to learn how to plan a trip like this for yourself and your friends then check out this webpage, I made to help people just like you. www.crossingne...

Man those bridges are tight! Just so you know, we just got back from a NFLD trip that was inspired by you and your website. And we documented the whole thing for our channel, excited to share the final product with you since you inspired the video style and showed us the whole trip was possible. Thank you!

Yes, they certainly are. I'm glad to know I was able to help you do plan the NL trip, thanks for letting me know. I watched your video at Old Man's Pond, nice job. I look forward to seeing your video when it's completed.

That's awesome! Thank you for the support! That was more of a promotional video for one of our sponsors. However we are currently editing a video inspired by your story telling editing style about a trip we did through the Cape Breton Highlands and then we will be starting our NFLD adventure video! Really looking forward to your NFLD videos from 2023

That trail system is amazing. The width of the defender is a draw back for sure. I had just enough clearance through the cattle grates. 14 of them on my last ride and the 2 bridges . It’s not a issue in most of my riding areas as the trails have been cleared to accommodate wider machines. Most of the trail systems started out as 3 wheeler and dirt bike trails .

You definitely can't ride anything wider than 66". The Defender Ltd is 65 so its cutting it really close. Thanks for posting.

I guess honda has low oil pressures light to warn you, if this happens in a polaris rzr or general you will solid seize the engine as there is no oil warning light in those machines
Great series wish we could join for a trip

Thanks so much. I didn't know those machines didn't have a low oil light. Thanks for watching and posting.

We don't always burn the plugs, some of us do and some don't. Personal preference, I guess. Thanks for watching!

The lower the tread level the more I think youl pick up sharp rocks. DEALERSHIPS, like 0 Quality workmanship these days. I feel you have to double check their work that you paid for. GREAT CONTENT !

    • @EastCoastATV

That's probably true about the rocks, and some dealers too. Although Howie's dealer told him that if anything goes wrong with his engine or transmission as long as he owns it, they'll cover any required repairs. So that's a positive. Thanks for watching, and posting!
