I have to be 100% sure before changing and O2 sensor, test resistance and if its getting power, if it's ok keep looking for the problem. I am not a mechanic. I am just an opinionator as most of the people who comment videos here. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Good way to find out it was a bad inyector.
i welded my exhaust yesterday and *burned my car down* ... WE CAN REBUILD! today i am cleaning the whole interior, ripping the burned stuff out (whole passager side and center console) and i am rewiring a bunch of stuff. if i could give some advice is to hang a smoke detector from the center mirror and to always wear earplug while welding because i got a burning amber down my ear.

In nissan for cars exported to gulf countries there is no live data like short and long fuel trim tried autel maxidas, md805, autel mk808bt no way then checked on Ford car and I got pid long and short trim also I got onboard diagnosis which is not supported by nissan really confused also tried elm 327 not showing live data short and long trim and no codes in my car and rpm goes down to 450 then return back to 700 on idle or stop once car warmed up its maxima 2013 Changed spark plugs, 2 coils, cleaned injectors with ultrasonic while pulsing Cleaned throttle body And air mass But once i disconnect air mass it runs OK no fluctuations so does that mean airmass is bad???

Hi, can i ask about the water temp sensor under the radiator on my camry 2.2 2000, the harness has no voltage coming from it, positive only reads from 0.1 to 0.3 but negative reads 12v those are while ignition position is on. Is this normal? Because the other green coolant sensor near the ignition coil reads 5v when ignition position is on. And i think the engine is always running rich. And also radiator fans are immediately turned on when ignition is on.

Hello Angel I have a quick consult to you , I own a 1998 Vamry that when is heated the idle starts to fail and the engine stops when I got into a stop light, some one told that could be the EGR valve but I do not know how to diagnostic that , the OBD gives me no codes =( Do you know how to fix that ?
I would clean the throttle body, mass air flow sensor, replace fuel filter if applicable and let us know if you have access to live data so we can help you diagnose the problem, Also it will help to know if it is a 4 or 6cyl and how many miles it has....
I watching TV your fixing everyday how do get the program on the phone do I have to down load the program I fix my car I don't know how many vfoot pound I just tight it or have to Google all the time

This is exactly what NOT to do when "fixing" a car. Simply firing the parts cannon because of a DTC and not diagnosing is the hack way of doing things. Poor customer now spent money on an unnecessary part.
Hello sir, I need help. I have a 2006 Toyota Camry base model with 2.4l. I have p301 and p171 errors. I changed spark plugs, ignition coils, MAF sensor, valve cover gasket. PCV valve and hose. I don't know what else I need to change.I checked the air intake it looks fine. This made me so tired. I need your help with this.

hi, from my experience as a used car tech when i was employed by a Toyota Dealership. The different cars i have repaired, Toyota's and Honda's are easier to maintain.

The lean might cuase by the Air Fuel Sensor or the Map sensor. I replace the AF Senser the problem still exist. I replace anothe 02 Sensor in the bottom, the problem still exist. Damn. I wast alot time and money. I gave up, my wife took to a mechanic. He replace a map sense then it works likke a charm. My lesson is to replace the cheaper part first like the map sensor. He has tow code one is lean and the other one is misfire. I am not a mechanic at all. I hope it help. My camy is a 2003 with p0171, lean. Those Auto parst store guy just sell u the part such o2 senser, and u can't even return. I wasted money and headaache.
So there is nothing wrong with the oxygen sensor right, only the injector fail then there is no fuel and too much air intake cause the error system too lean.

That really gets me specially when you go to the dealer and they dont even ask or tell you if you need or want those parts...
Toyota makes their own rubber grease. It’s soap based and good to use on those o rings to help slide in without binding

Sometimes they could leak ‘cause it’s a curved angle. Just apply some sealant on the corners of the curve surface area.

hello jorasave, it could be many other problems. what have you done to it, as in repairs? i need to know what you did to try to fix the problem.

The structure of the block looks very gothic with those supports along the body. Looks like something you'd find in the citadel in HL2.

For my experience.. if like that im disconnect the negative terminal in 30 seconds or more .. automaticaly oxygen sensor will be reset..

Clean the IAC sensor on the intake hose. That should fix it. If not replace it. That is what PO171 is pointing to.
