When you open your shape for the template under operation choose guide and you get a transparent image which doesn't print so no sending to back or remembering to delete before cutting. One of the best updates to Design Space!!!
Thanks Alex! 😊 I haven't gotten a sublimation printer yet, but I have lots of Infusable Ink sheets and markers. Could we see some tutorials on that method for us poor newbies?
Thanks Alex, great as always. Would love to see more sublimation projects. Here in the England we tend to use degrees centigrade, so some converting required. I would like to see how to prepare a photo for sublimation in a photo editing software. Coulour correction, and so on.
I had a question during the live, and nobody noticed it. I got an Epson ET 2803 for sublimation. I have not put the sub ink in yet. The reason why...is because I'm moving back to Washington State from Tennessee, and I won't be able to use my printer for a month or more. It will be on a moving truck and then storage. I've heard that if you don't use it at least once a week it will clog or dry up the print heads. Is this true? Also, how hard is it to get it working right again? Great video! Loved the coasters! I will be making coasters like that when I can! Thank you DIY Alex!💖💖💖
Great video! I have a question about my new heat press. I live in a tiny apartment. I have no idea where I can put it. What is a safe surface. I know also, I'll need to cover it, I could not find the right size online.. I thought about covering the box or a box with vinyl and putting it on upside down as long as it's cooled off. Any suggestions? I went crazy and got the printer and convection oven, too! 😆

Do you need to put anything on top of the coasters to protect the design after putting it on?
More sublimation please
I cannot get a sublimation printer but would Infusible ink be some sort of substitute?
Hey Michael this Bettye from THE SIPP
Apparently I missed the live!
I tried it with car coasters and it's dull and not lined up
