Can you do a tutorial how you make a design on procreate? I would love to know how you do that and how you size it. Cause I can’t figure that out or how to make letter circular.
love your video I hope to see more of your sublimation works was wondering if you have a video that tells you all the thing you would need to start doing this type of work
Great tutorial! I do want to mention a couple of things though. The epson 2760 will actually print larger than a letter size. It will actually print as large at 8.5x14. And you can use regular paper instead of sub paper to print. Just a few pointers that I have learned along along the way.
Im using epson et 2800. Using htv ront paper. What paper setting do i set the orinter for? And on bleaching what type bleach u use mine always turns out orange.
How do you get the correct sizing using procreate , I swear I put the canvas size for 3.5 inches and when I printed it didn’t print that size 😪😪idk how else to
Hi! Great tutorial! I’m totally new to this whole thing. My question is, when you sublimate, do you not have to epoxy over them?? How long will this sublimation last without sealing it? This is really cool ! Thanks again
Hey! Thank you! No you do not seal these. These are neoprene fabric coasters so they're waterproof. The sublimation should last a super long time. When you sublimate something, your heatpress is basically releasing the ink (gases) into the materials fibers. So basically in a nutshell, you're dying the material. Now sublimation works best with synthetic materials like polyester, if you were to sublimate on cotton, the image would be there but would be super faded and can wash out. The synthetic materials hold the color if that makes sense. Hope this helps.
I downloaded procreate. I have to play with it more. I also have an iPad. I was under the impression that you shouldn’t print from the iPad because it doesn’t have the epson driver on the iPad?
Hi! How do you size your circle in procreate when it all measures in pixels. I’m having a hard time making sure it’s about 2.5-3inches big. Don’t want to print it out and it be too small.
I have a great hack that I use all the time. My biggest complaint on procreate is that they don't have a ruler tool or at least margins to reference. So I just uploaded a picture of a ruler to a canvas (I chose the paper size canvas because I knew the measurements for that is 11" x 8.5). So then I stretched the ruler across the top of the canvas so that the ruler went all the way across to 8.5" so that I could use that as a reference. I hope that made sense, its hard to explain without just showing it. Before I started doing this I would just print, tweak the design, & reprint until I got what I needed and it was awful lol.
Great tutorial! I always wondered how these were made. What is the size of the document in procreate and do the circles need to be a certain size? Thank you!
Thanks! I use the paper size on procreate so I can print a full page of them (so 8.5x11). The circles need to be slightly bigger than 2.5" which is the coaster size.
We bought the small teardrop wooden earrings off of Amazon, used A-Sub sublimation paper (125G) they recommended when you buy the earrings, but we still are not getting them to work. Our earrings turn yellow and nothing sticks to it. Can someone help?
@@CreativelyErica we have procreate also. How do we upload a photo and then make it into a circle so that we can use them on for a example a coaster design.
Sorry I just make a design into a circle shape. I literally draw a circle and then design within my circle outline. If it's a whole image like a print (for example like leopard print) I would just draw a circle and alpha lock a clipping mask so that the circle that I drew has the print on it (similar to slicing on Cricut Design space if you're familiar with that). Sorry I'm not sure how to better explain it. I might just have to make a video on it 🤔 😅
@@CreativelyErica i guess what i was asking if i have a picture in my phone of my child and i want to make it into a circle to sublimate onto a coaster how would i go about doing it.
@@CreativelyErica i don't know. i have not tried sub paper yet, only copy paper. but i am curious so i ordered some sub paper today. it will be interesting to find out. i have only done a few mugs so far and they have come out pretty good over all. i do know that you have to use extra copy paper or butcher paper to protect the press from the sublimation ink.

Do you use a specific app to get the correct shape? I looked up procreate (I have apple) and get so many options. I’m not sure which one you use.
What kind of heat press do you have and do you recommend it?
Hello and good evening. I would like to know about the heat press too.
This is awesome. My friend told me I should look into this. What design program do you use?
Thanks! Super fun to do! I use Procreate on my ipad to design everything 🥰

What app did u use for printing multiple on a page
Does this process work on ceramic coasters as well?
I believe so as the supplier I get these neoprene coasters also sell sandstone ceramic coasters that are sublimatable.
What do you have your printer settings on

@@CreativelyEricahow do you do the measurements in pro create when it only does pixels?
How did you get all those images on one piece of paper?
Do you put anything over the coasters once you’re done to seal them or anything? Just wondering
Nope, they're good to go 😊
what size did you make your design?
Do you sell these? I see stickers, car smells and shirts but no coasters
I normally do I just don't have any made at the moment and need to restock 😅

my question is what size do you make them for car coaster
She indicated that the coaster size is 2.50 to got slightly bigger
So when you sublimate on the neoprene you didnt spray it first. How come? Do you have to spray or no? Im so confused.
I don't spray anything and they come out great
@@CreativelyErica well good cause i was confused
What is procreate how do I get or pls thx
How can I do the template and insert the image?? I just can’t figure it out!
Where do you get your coasters from?
I have the same press. I cannot get mine to heat up to 400 degrees. Any suggestions?
What was the measurements that you used thanks

What about the tape?
you don't have to use sublimation paper, you can use regular laser copy paper
I just heard about this on Tiktok also!! That's crazy! Is the design like the same quality and everything?

I pressed at 400 for 6 seconds and my coaster turned yellow.
400 degrees 60 seconds
what are your measurements for the design
