I use to drive semi in ND if I parked with nose into wind my engine temp would drop to about 110, couldn't keep warm. I would live in truck 30 days straight. Storytime..... When I was 20 something, many years ago I spent a couple years commuting 2 hours to Nursing School, winter included. Being a Canadian you get familiar pretty quickly with the hazards of winter driving so I had the studded winter tires, AWD, and my trusty Emergency kit in the trunk with everything I might need if stranded...I felt safe, and prepared..,.. haha! One small inexpensive detail changed all of that one particular day exactly like this one. WINDSHIELD WIPERS Word of advice for winter drivers..It doesn't matter if you've got all the winter bells, and whistles if you cant see out of your windshield.... When you put your winter tires on every year make sure to upgrade those wipers or you'll spend more time stopping on a dangerous slippery highway to scrape ice off than you will driving!... Many people are killed each winter doing that very thing...
The Bible says in John 3:16-36 that whoever believes in the Lord Jesus Christ shall not perish but have everlasting life, the Bible also says in Romans 10:9 that those who declare with their mouth that Jesus Christ is their God, Lord, and Savior they shall be saved. Revelation 1:8 says that Jesus is the alpha and the omega. Luke and revelation is the ending times, and Jesus is returning back. So are you going to submit your life to him or no? Narrow is the path that leads to the gates of heaven, but only few people find it. The gates that is the path to destruction is where many people find it! Jesus loves you SO MUCH! That he died on the cross, and was resurrected from the dead 3 days later to give us eternal life.

I feel like we’re inclined to pay you for that immaculate singing performance.
When you spend a lot of time by yourself you tend to talk to yourself a lot I’ve experienced it and and after a while people get more and more annoying I like your attitude you seem very humble much love from Torrance CA
Hell yeah a resident of Torrance! I’ve never seen one on RUclips.
I’m from Torrance
Same. Im a solo flyer. Lol
Yup, people get much more annoying the more time you spend alone. That was well said!
Sorry this is a really late reply but I totally agree! I’ve been spending lots of time alone and it’s almost like I learn to enjoy my own company more and more haha. Then I start to talk to myself even and have a conversation out loud
Me thinking he smokes 😫 then he says he doesn’t 😂😂😂 dammmmnnnn would’ve been a vibe to be high asl In the back with a blunt man 🤣🤣

I’m here complaining about how cold Houston is and I see this video and I gotta say I definitely give my respects to you and the folks living under those conditions. Stay safe brother
I came to Houston to AVOID the cold of NORTH TX! Lol
Houston Cold? huh I musta missed that day. If you think Houston is cold you better never go any further north lol
@@fairladykd6734 How do you feel now lol, Stay safe from a very warm Aussie!
@@liampoor9699 Hey Liam, TY! we had a few freezing days & a little bit of snow (YAY!) Would have enjoyed it a hella lot more but we had no electricity for @ 56 hrs. I woulda loved to have played in the snow then gone into my warm home and had a cup of hot chocolate. I still prefer colder temps. Summers here are BRUTAL! Heat, humidity, skeeters = YUCK! Stay inside with the a/c lol!
Im from Houston and anything below 40 is freezing to me 😂😂😂😅😅😅😅
I like this kid. Decent young man; he just does things alone I prob wouldn't. But he's always in a good mood. And he's cute, so of course he has thousands of followers. Love, health and peace. And safety. And ample wealth.
Hello Self, just checking this video out and saw your post, I'm a TL also, 😆
@No Name Total Lunatic
I also notice how he virtually never swears. I have a filthy mouth and I'm an old woman, but this kid is naturally so clean cut. Great example to others. I love how in the beginning of this video a vehicle in front of him spins out and right away he shouts "DO YOU NEED HELP?" Good kid. Need more like him.
@@lunamaria9883 Northerners, especially those on the border of Canada are extremely polite people. Always saying thank you, Sorry or asking how your day is and they always try not to swear.
I love this kind of weather. Makes me feel alive, I go for a walk or go out in the yard. Im from the deep Canadian North .I grew up with it.
Can’t imagine anything being more stressful in those conditions (ie. black ice, slick roads, below freezing temps) other than a truck driver hauling delivered packages or job material wise… Kudos to you !!
As a Floridian I sure love watching your winter videos while not experiencing it for myself lol

Haha I saw the trees and houses and instantly knew it was Minnesota. ❤
I love your energy--you make me feel young again! And I am 72. That storm was amazing--never seemed to get that bad in Illinois. Your positive attitude of capability with clean and wondrous language so refreshing. Your hints to surviving in a cold storm was great. I might just adopt you! Keep singing!
Depends on the car, older cars don’t have ABS so pumping the brakes is what you do. Newer cars have ABS so it does the pumping for you, it’s actually less affective to pump them if you have ABS.
yeah, i was just about to comment this.
thank you- was going to make the same comment..you were the first one I read..
No. You pump before you slide. ABS is for when you already fucked up
@@Stickyickygnar I’m a seasoned New Hampshire driver and I definitely agree with you. Pumping brakes during slick snow is the way to go, especially useful when going down steep hills. ABS kicks in after the fuck up.

When I was your age I’ve been doing the same thing, I loved it when it was cold and snowy like that. I have not lived in Minnesota for several years now in my mid-50s, I have some broken bones on now arthritis has set in. You remind me of what I once was. Continue to love it because in another 40 years things may change LOL
Damn sad day I’m 19 and already have had multiple surgeries and bad arthritis in both hands
i can’t imagine how fun experience is this, you can travel all around the world with your house 😮! like imagine waking up in a car and cooking in a car and more everyday you don’t even need a house like that anymore 🤩 i wish i’m just like you, that’s incredible😳😳
It’s definitely fun
Every time we got a good snow storm when I was much younger, my husband and I would jump in the car and take off for northern Michigan. Watching this video brought back such great memories.
I've been living in my vehicle for 5 years now. Started off with a Town & country moved to a Dodge sprinter then a Honda Odyssey and I am now in a Ford e-450 cube handicap bus that I converted. Took a while to get to what I really wanted. A lot of lessons along the way. Love seeing other people doing it.
What is it about watching someone camping in a blizzard that is so comforting and relaxing??? Good video buddy!
Thx Mac for talking!! To many don't so visually impaired people don't really get what's going on!! Love you!
Was thinking of the Key and Peele Black Ice sketch right before he goes “must be some black ice” lmao

Such a nice young man! Your parents raised you right!! Love the Christmas lights on the truck!!
Mav , the co2 detector needs to be at the lowest spot in the back of your sleeping area.
If it goes off where its currently Installed , you will already be dead and not hear the alarm going off. Please look it up/research it.
Merry Christmas Bro
I understand your point and yeah it should probably be placed lower but the alarm goes off way way before the levels reach death levels
That's probably true , but I ain't taking any chances.....its not worth it 😃👍
Yeah carbon monoxide is heavier than oxygen
Why do we place them on walls and ceilings instead of floors?
@@paulcardone481 so they don't get kicked or run into. They are sensitive enough that you'll still work fine. At eye level, you can see the meter. It's all good!
The young man asked who does this? When my son was four and I was 25 I drove through blizzards, camped inside the car at night to find 6 feet of snow outside of the Datsun 510, which I shoveled away from the windows with a dustpan, and have never regretted the experience. Didn't have a propane heater in those days, so that looks like even more fun! Thanks for the Memories!
Theres nothing like that first big snowstorm!!! It really gets u fizzled up!!!! I love it!!! Ko'2s are the shits!!!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Mav so animated.

Probably why i prefer watching about blizzard at this moment 😬
That’s a pretty sweet setup. I need to get something like that going. Recently took a road trip from Minneapolis to Las Vegas in my Bronco, came into Salt Lake City as a blizzard rolled in, had to pull in to the nearest town to sleep. Found a Walmart parking lot and hopped in my sleeping bag with all my blankets and tried not freezing to death on the bench seat.
you know this guy is from Minnesota when he can tank a blizzard without any gloves on

Next time park your truck nose into the wind then you won’t get snow coming in the back
looked like the wind was just a bit unpredictable
Thank you from Tucson AZ 71 today. True we have many deaths when it is over 110.
Get a winter front so the truck can maintain temp during idle.
Unpredictable wind direction so.......
I use to drive semi in ND if I parked with nose into wind my engine temp would drop to about 110, couldn't keep warm. I would live in truck 30 days straight. Only shut off once a day to check oil and never on location always shut it off at truck stop in case it wouldn't start. Loved the job. I was making about 400 a day.
Helped me fall asleep. 10/10 video
WINDSHIELD WIPERS
Word of advice for winter drivers..It doesn't matter if you've got all the winter bells, and whistles if you cant see out of your windshield....

When you abs and traction control best thing is to find the fuse and throw it out
You drag your brakes keeping them dry and useable with abs
