      Take it easy bro. I'm a furniture mover and I pinch a nerve at random times. It's not fun, but I just keep on moving and working through the pain. It lasts for a day then I'm good again for about 4-6 months. It feels like I pulled something when it initially happens and the pain shoots through my shoulder/back right through to my chest. The worst thing to do is sit in bed and hope for the pain to go away. Resting it only makes it worse. Pinched nerves are caused by knots and they can cause many different kinds of symptoms/effects with our bodies. A deep tissue massage therapist is what I need and possibly you if it is in fact you pinched a nerve that caused your pain. One thing I have never done or will never do, is go see is a chiropractor. Once you go, you will always have to go back and your body will never be the same. My boss is always throwing something out and has to see his chiropractor quite frequently. Not me. 🙂 Just thought I'd share my thoughts on that.

      @@dicmccoy I have a chiropractor, physical therapist, and a yoga coach and they're all rock solid. My chiropractor actually isn't a big fan of constant adjustments but with my back injury what happens is it swells up and my L5 locks into place so I literally can't move properly, his adjustments get it back to being able to move then my physical therapist and yoga girl help me stay mobile and strengthen the area to reduce the likelihood of it happening again. The yoga girl is a new addition and will most likely replace my physical therapist, she's really good at this kind of stuff.

      @@victormanuelporrascenicero8402 depends on what you like and what your goals are. The RSL will have a lot more output, if you do any theater at all the RSL is a better option since it's ported but this is more of a situation of taste rather than performance as both are very good but sound very different.

      It's wild because all they really did was design the subwoofer properly as in giving the 10" driver it's proper sized cabinet. Everyone else caves to marketing around this prices and forces a 12" into a smaller ported cabinet which drastically reduces the benefit of a ported design and instead gives a small ~60hz bump that makes noobs go "wow i can hear boom boom".

It is probably the best 10 inch subwoofer I've ever used. Like a fool, I lost the port plug it came with but fouyit a few days ago. This comparison does make me curious about the Rythmik LV12F (too bad they don't make an FX12F or another higher quality small ported sub) due to it being so much smaller than the FVX12. But since the LV12F only has 1 port, I wouldn't want to plug it (might as well buy an F12 at that point). Makes me wonder how good the LV12F would be for music. With the FVX12, both ports open, do you feel the sound quality matches or surpasses the HT-1205? I heard you say the 1205 is a good middle ground between SQ & SPL... that's the camp I aim for & for me the HT-1205 has as much detail as I could ask for. I'm speculating the LV12F will surpass the Emotiva RS11 for 2-channel but I could be wrong.

    • @NemoPropaganda
      @NemoPropaganda  3 года назад +1

      I listen to the FVX12 with both ports open all the time. Yes it’s better than the HT-1205 in either configuration. It’s more on par against a pair of T9X. If you can fit the size and don’t mind the looks the FVX12 is extremely difficult to beat with respect to SQ and SPL. It’s a genuine best of both worlds performer with no compromises in either category. The only “compromise” is the size and obviously it’s not beautiful like a REL T9X is.

  • @ronscopes

    The FVX12 now comes in piano black. My music listening is most important, but I like the HT addition of the FVX12. Which would you choose between FVX12 and SVS SB-3000 with this in mind ?

    • @NemoPropaganda
      @NemoPropaganda  Год назад

      those are two really different subwoofers, the SB3000 is a great all around compact solution but it can't compete with something as large as the FVX12. If you have the space the FVX12 was my product of the year for 2021 and still gets my highest recommendation. The SB3000 is great if the cell phone app is super important to you or you need that compact solution but it cannot match the FVX12 speed, articulation, transient response, or fidelity.

    My room is roughly 27' by 20'. Without knowing the rest of the setup, do you think the S10 would have the umph for that size of a room if it is run LFE for movies, etc? I am currently using an ancient M&K V-125 which is very musical but lacks the strength to excite the room for movies. I would rather stick to a single sub but would consider a pair in the future if needed. The S10 just seems like such an insane value that it is hard to pass up. Very nice review, BTW. Straight talk and easy to understand.

    • @NemoPropaganda

      Hey Marc, "enough bass" really is personal taste but I don't think a single RSL 10S will be adequate for movies in such a large room for most people but you won't know until you try, you can always add a second one down the road. If you really want to stick with a single sub I'd go for either the Emotiva or Rythmik in this video. The Rythmik is slightly cheaper and larger so that gets my vote such a large space.

    Would you say the fvx12 has more output down to 18hz with both ports or does the pb2000 have more down to 17hz? I just bought both, have the pb2000 and receiving the fvx12 tomorrow. Obviously going to find out for myself but I’m listening to bass lines like middle child by j cole and it goes so deep it shakes my bones. Will the rythmik do that with authority like this? I’m not sure what the hz are in the bass line but I want to like the rythmik more but I’m afraid the svs is better at low bass. I’ll find out tomorrow. Just want an opinion

    • @NemoPropaganda
      @NemoPropaganda  2 года назад +1

      The Rythmik 18hz is measured at a stricter -2dB so it actually extends lower between the two. But you should spend as much time with both of them as you can, at least 2 weeks total between the two, listen to each one for a few days before switching or at least a few hours. This will make the difference super obvious. While the SVS has more power the Rythmik is more efficient so don't worry about the wattage, just listen and you will decide with relative ease. Sorry I'm not telling you which is better since you have both coming I don't want to influence your opinion too much :D But plz lmk your thoughts later on and what you will discover is if you like SPL style or SQ style bass as that's the primary difference between the two.

      I have received the Rythmik and I have to say I’m pretty impressed by it. I need to mess with all the different customization options it offers, which is a lot more compared to the svs. It overall sounds better and I like turning it up louder because the quality is better. It shakes my whole house with ease. It drops lower with ease. It has more authority at lower hz I think and it sounds amazing. Much flatter instead of kind of pulse-y feeling, if that makes sense? Haha I’m new to this. I’m more of a music person than movies like 95% music 5% movies other than maybe South Park. So I would definitely say it’s better for music. It’s quick and there’s no boomy overhang sound where the bass almost lingers. I need to keep breaking both in. Both are amazing subs but I have to say I’m more impressed by the look of the rythmik in matte black, the build quality, the sound quality, the customizations, overall it’s just a step up I think. That’s my rant. Thanks for all your help man! Maybe this info will help you help others. I plan on posting a short informational video of the two and my set up.

    This comparison might seem somewhat strange but how does the Rythmik FVX12 compare with the F15HP and the F18 for combined Music/Gaming/HT duties? I know the price points are quite different, but I'm thinking about the kind of performance I can fit within a 21 inch cube. • @NemoPropaganda
      @NemoPropaganda  3 года назад +1

      I'm not exactly sure as I haven't heard those but larger drivers have heavier moving mass and while servo helps that it can't eliminate it, nothing can. I would ask Rythmik directly since they make all the subs you're curious about. They'll have a better understanding than anyone else.

    • @NemoPropaganda
      @NemoPropaganda  3 года назад +4

      @@jermainkoh mmmm, not exactly. This is a difficult question to answer so let me try my best here: So SVS has the most dynamics to me honestly, they're more the SPL brand and despite most people thinking dynamics are a big audiophile characteristic the SPL subwoofers are better at it, they have tons more reserve power and heavier drivers that just hit harder, the downside is they don't integrate as well nor disappear in the room as well. Then there are SQ brands like Rythmik, now that's not to say Rythmik can't deliver high SPL, they certainly can, in-fact Rythmik offers subwoofers much larger and capable of more SPL than most companies do however Rythmik is still an SQ company and SQ subwoofers integrate really well, sound like an extension of your speakers, have excellent base note distinction and so on, essentially they are more accurate. That high level of SQ can't coexist with crazy dynamics and aggressive slam since that's not accurate. At the end of the day none of this really matters. What matters is your taste, are you more an SPL customer or an SQ customer? And don't think just because you're an audiophile you're automatically an SQ customer lol. Many audiophiles are SPL customers. Personally I'm in the SQ camp all the way. If you've never heard a Rythmik sub my advice is just try it, they offer an in home trial. Most of the guys that have come over to my home and heard all my subwoofers have been most impressed by the F12, it's approach to bass is more inline with something you find in the uber high end speaker category like the $250k wilson alexandria XLS. It's more controlled, tight, comes from the background, etc... Everyone should experience it at least 1 time to have the data point and understand what SQ is all about.

    I’m fairly sold on Rhythmik, given my research so far. However, I’m trying to figure out which model for mixed usage 🤔 Their website recommends something from their 15” series for mixed usage. Far as aesthetics goes, Salk offers a 12”, *wood veneer*, Rhythmik for $2K. So, lots to sort, but I’m pretty sure of the brand. Lastly, I care about size, but I don’t see a way around it, if mixed usage is the primary goal.

      Plenty of people run smaller subs for mixed systems, it just comes down to how much bass you want, how loud you listen, and how big your room is. I think that's what you need to establish first. A pair of E15hp2 in piano black aren't too large, will look amazing in most rooms, and certainly should get the job done for most people. But there are those that will be happy with a pair of the smaller F12 and still those who will only be happy with a pair of G25 or F18. Personally I'm with you, I want the smallest sub that will satisfy my needs. I don't like the way a large sub looks in my room. I had the more affordable L22 for awhile and it was rather monstrous. I'm fairly confident a pair of dual 12" subs like the E22 will outperform nearly any other pair of dual single 13" drivers. There is considerably more surface area on the driver and the cabinet is much larger. Bass delivery of each brand is very different however so that will be a matter of personal taste. SVS has a very aggressive and strong initial attack. Rythmik is one of the champions of integration with extremely good extension and midbass articulation (a rare combination in subwoofers) and the bass delivery is more like it's coming from an ink black back ground.

      @@joshdekubber3631 Twice as good is too hard to quantify but if you're asking will it have twice as much bass the answer is no but the E112 is better. JL Audio is a company that makes their own subwoofer drivers and substantial ones at that. The E112 driver is nothing short of breathtaking, google it if you have a moment. It makes most drivers look like toys by comparison. The E112 has significantly more maximum excursion, more wattage, and is double the price of the SB3000. While the SB3000's 13" driver is 17.4% larger CEA data shows from 12.5hz to 40hz the E112 has substantially more output than the SB3000 (and for the money it should), at 50hz and above the SB3000 larger driver looks to take the advantage and plays louder. If budget is not a concern I think most people would take the E112 pair. It's like shopping for a Ford Mustang GT and a base model Porsche 911. Both cars are great sports cars but if you can afford the 911, you'd be much happier with that :). Unfortunately Pyramid still makes 💩 Why anyone buys them vs say Taramps I just do not know. If I bought one it would be to hide something better such as a SALT amp. It's just not so likely to attract the wrong attention...
