I did, although some frown upon being called one! 😂 Couldn’t believe the difference in ride performance, brilliant! Thank you man, very much appreciated! ✌️
@@HarleyThrottleJuice the cost difference along with the ride quality will surprise you. I can adjust ride on the go and weight of passenger doesn't matter at all. Fahrvergnuegen
Sounds like a great system. I have Legends on my Street Glide Special and when I first rode it after the install, I was hooked. I have seen several get the Wilburs, maybe something for me to consider for the next bike that needs the upgrade to a better ride. Thanks for sharing. Ride safe and enjoy the ride.
I’ve been considering these shocks for almost 4yrs. The whole system makes sense to me. I’ve watched the RUclips videos and just haven’t pulled the trigger yet, mostly due to cost. I’m not a fan of the stock suspension (who is… Rochelle?????) as it just lacks in all aspects. Well Mr Brooks, your thoughts have helped. I will save my Pennie’s and come next winter get the bikes both set up. Thanks my friend! The was the best HTJ video ever without music! LOL P. ✌️
@@Zulu_117_ST I think Roger would be a good mate if we lived close by… we believe in the same things. You guys should come first! Bonnie never complains about her bike, but I think everything should be perfect. You are an awesome lady, so glad we met!
Nicely explained! Somebody will definitely regret leaving the kit for the Street Glide Special... Danny has it on both, CVO and Road King-both off road tested.
Thank you, sir, very nice of you to watch and comment, it is very much appreciated! The CVO will definitely be getting the Wilbers upgrade, and we have convinced many others to do the same. ✌️
Hi Stefan, I got interested in the system after your video with Laidlaw, then reaffirmed after seeing this great video. Thank you both for sharing Ordered it for my 22 Road Glide special.. can’t wait..
@@stefaneberle2267 You will definitely love it. Make sure the technician knows how to install and initially set the Wilbers Nivomat (there are some small but important differences)
Something you said has me stuck in limbo. “You still feel the bumps.” I spent $915 on 14” LT Super Shox rear shocks and I’m very disappointed. But I can’t tell if it’s because there is something wrong with the shocks or if it’s because my expectations were too high based off so many RUclips videos that scream “OMG night & day” type things. I’m willing to spend whatever it takes on suspension. I just want to feel it was worth that amount of $. The $915 Super Shox got me $200 worth of improved ride. Enjoyed the video.
The Wilbers that went onto that black bike are now on my new bike, and I can tell you that the ride is super smooth. Even on very bumpy roads it just feels like there’s a cushion there.
Letting me?? I told her a thousand times that they’re going on her bike, in the end I said that if she doesn’t want it, then she deserves stock HD suspension! ✌️😂
It sure sounds like it's doing the trick for you. I prefer a mechanical shock like this system. I suspect it will take 1,000 kms or so to settle in. A very interesting video for me Roger. Eric
This video was at the end of our 3,700km trip last week. I felt as though it was a good test, will be interesting to see and feel how it changes over time. ✌️
@@Zulu_117_ST Honestly Rochelle. I'm with you on this one. I love my stock suspension on the Revival. The tractor seat has a mechanical shock on it as well stolen from the police bike part bins. Between the two, I get a Cadillac ride.
The only thing adequate about Harley suspension is the acceptance of the worst suspension of any motorcycle I’ve ever owned. That includes my old Royal Enfield Classic 500. That handled better than a stock Harley. My Sporty has Hagons but if I keep it a bit longer I might upgrade further. We shall see. This system is almost akin to the old Citroen self levelling pneumatic system system they used for decades.
